  1. Maybe his 4th team in a calendar year will do the trick...
  2. Do yourselves a favor and don't look at his 2023 stats...
  3. Former Royal>> I watched plenty of Whit with the Jays last season. He's just not good anymore. Don't the MLB INFs they've already acquired check enough of those boxes? edit - With Pedro at the helm, I doubt Whit would simply be a UTIL, he'd likely play almost every day.
  4. I don’t give a s%*# if he hurts himself out there anymore, he’s a lost cause IMO. I’m more concerned about him colliding with someone else and doing serious harm.
  5. You’re not wrong. The Sox would likely have to overpay, which at that point, why? Just stay away.
  6. My default answer will be Sheets until proven otherwise or he’s off the roster. And please no one suggest Eloy. We don’t need to put Robert in such a hazardous position.
  7. Why would Whit sign on for that for a team that loses 100 easily? I’d think he’d go to a contender first.
  8. Except as a trivia question regarding the panoply of first round suck drafted by our White Sox.
  9. Hahaha hell yes! And having scrolled through the last page, it was what I suspected and it’s as bad as I thought. The Sox already have plenty of atrocious middle infield fodder, but his return of the prodigal son fever dream will never die.
  10. I clicked on this thread and this was the first post I saw. And now I’m terrified to see what it was in response to ??.
  11. I still expect a Whit signing, and they’ll shoehorn him into RF and pretend it’s fine.
  12. A flip for a lottery ticket is better than nothing, but I still feel like they could accomplish the same thing on a minor league deal.
  13. Good luck to them with the ghost of Craig Kimbrel closing games against the AL East.
  14. Jays traded too much for Varsho and he basically flopped, at least for what they were hoping to get. His ability to cover CF has been his most valuable trait. Kirk splits time at DH so there isn't much room to add ABs, and I don't think Toronto pays Bellinger without an open everyday position.
  15. After all of the chatter last deadline and being two months into the offseason, I'm resigning myself to that too. As much as we've been dreaming on getting ahold of a few of Baltimore's stud prospects, I don't think the O's are willing to meet the asking price.
  16. I don't think ATL is the preferred trade partner for most of us, but we have to view this through the lens of the cheap owner tasking his GM to acquire cost-controlled pitching in return.
  17. Don't need any more reasons to hate my formerly favorite team...
  18. That is true. I do seem to remember some rumblings about Manoah handling his struggles/demotion poorly.
