Twins @ Sox 1:10 WGN Odorizzi vs Giolito
It's crazy how much one game affects people's perceptions of a player. Just yesterday Moncada was on his way back and was a budding star. Now he's a bust and a lost cause less than 24 hours later.

Just got home. Ricky really took the bat out of Yoan's hand by making him bunt? Seriously, how the fuck is he gonna get better as a RHH if we don't let him hit as a RHH? Infuriating.

Moncada 2B Anderson SS Abreu 1B Palka/Davidson DH A. Garcia RF L. Garcia LF Sanchez 3B Smith C Tilson CF Is by far our best lineup IMO. I'd love to see this used. Get Engel out of there, move Anderson up, play Leury every day

Moncada and Anderson are so similar defensively. Elite range for their positions, dazzling plays from time to time, but sometimes messes up routine plays. If they both hit their defensive ceilings (which Anderson is already starting to do), we're gonna have the best defensive middle infield in baseball, and it won't even be close.

An incredible AB nonetheless. Anderson would've singled though.

This should be Anderson instead of Smith anyway. This lineup construction sucks

Avi might finish the season with single digit walks. Currently on pace for 0.

Yeah that isn't fun. Once I ran into a metal pole full speed while playing basketball because I lost my footing while driving in for a layup. It's such a weird mix of embarrassment, pain, and confusion

That was a really bad inning for the home plate ump.

Just for fun - what's your post-draft Top 30?
- Astros interested in Abreu?
Nope he's not a hall of famer so that means he sucks. Get with the program- FS: Who's Up Next?
I'd rather see Tilson and Palka both stay with Engel being optioned to AAA or released- Race for the worst 2018 record (Top 5 pick) again
If this team was healthy for the first few months, with Kopech and Eloy being added in May (which I guess was never gonna happen), I truly think we'd be .500 or better right now. Avi/Leury/Rodon and even Nicky make such a big difference- Immigration Thread 2
Apparently there's a protest of this downtown on Saturday. I've never been to a political protest or rally of any kind but I look forward to going to this one.- 2018 MiLB White Sox news and notes
It's been 3 games... I mean you can call it a hot start but it might not even be enough sample size to constitute a "start" lol- 2018 White Sox draft picks and signings thread
8 MPH range on his fastball (end of the tweet)? That's pretty drastic- Dunning has medium elbow strain, out 6-8 weeks
So wouldn't playing with a partially torn... anything, increase the risk of a full tear in the future? Sorry if I'm completely wrong on that but it just seems risky to me- Just for fun - what's your post-draft Top 30?
For me, Hansen was at 8 rather than 4 because 1. I've always liked Cease better, and I thought Cease was great last year but was basically pitching without a defense behind him, causing him to have to pitch for strikeouts and preventing him from going deeper into games 2. Madrigal slotted above him but that's not Hansen "dropping", more just Madrigal being added 3. Just like with Cease, I've always loved Collins 4. I ranked Dunning higher just because there's a higher chance he'll be a solid MLB pitcher (lower ceiling than Hansen, but less risk). Maybe the injury did affect my ranking there. But of course now Dunning is injured too.- Twinkies at Sox: 6/27 -- Going for three in a row
Right, by multiple I meant this year and next, so 1.5 I guess. Agree on Cedeno, still annoyed we left him in AAA for so long. He's a proven MLB arm.- AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Good rebuild game. Moncada and Anderson were good overall- Yoan also had that dazzling defensive play. Leury is really streaky when it comes to hitting but man it sure is nice to have him back. Avi too- Twinkies at Sox: 6/27 -- Going for three in a row
I expect/hope to see Cedeno, Soria, and Avilan all traded. Avilan may have a little more trade value since he has multiple years though.- Twinkies at Sox: 6/27 -- Going for three in a row
Haha, I guess that's fair. They can take Minaya's spot for all I care - Astros interested in Abreu?
