He was at .276/.323/.379 before today (not good, but better). In other words, it's way too early for stats to matter for him with such a limited sample. Not to mention, this is a rehab stint.

The same Albies who has negative defensive value for the season and a .593 OPS over the last month? Wow, he sounds sensational.

I was glad upon seeing that this was a well thought out post rather than a "move him to left field" or "abandon switch hitting" or "he's a bust". I think the current approach may not be ideal but he also is still struggling to get back into sync from the hamstring injury, apparently. I'd give it a little more time before I think about tweaking it, I guess is what I'm saying

Devers was reported to be untouchable as well, from what I remember

As would I. A second baseman with Moncada's tools has way more potential than an average to poor fielding LF with a good bat

I agree, I think the Garland comp is lazy. Even Arrieta/Kluber, as unrealistic as they may be, seem to fit his style better

Is that really a surprise though? There's no way he should be ranked better than Eloy and Kopech, and I'd argue that Robert should be better as well

A fair and balanced soliloquy about Jose Abreu, by ron
Jose Abreu replied to ron883's topic in Pale Hose Talk
When he has a good defensive game the critics are silent. It's the same with Moncada and Anderson, the latter to a greater extent. I can't tell you how many cool, range-y plays TA has made this year that have gone generally unmentioned on Soxtalk/Twitter because all anyone wants to talk about is a certain play he messed up the day before rather than the 3 good plays he made in the current game -
I think they still sell soda with the souvenir cup at some stands? It's expensive (around $8) but you can share if you please and I do believe refills are free for it, though I could be wrong

We've only watched 1 and 2 so far. She surprisingly wasn't too impressed by Maul, but she at least liked the end battle in AOTC between Dooku and Yoda/Anakin/Ob-Wan. Overall she doesn't like it so far but I don't blame her, and I've been assuring her that she made it through the worst of it

I see. Not sure if that was a stab at Jones' injury history or actual info but I hadn't seen that prior, so thanks for clarifying. Not sure what to make of Dave as an insider anymore since he doesn't break news and when he does, it's sarcastic
-
I don't think that's what he meant. His schtick this season has been tweeting news 20-30 minutes after it was reported and passing it off as his own as an attempt at humor. I interpreted his tweet as just another one of those, and not actual info

Even if you believe in all the Brietbart "those damn illegals are stealing our jobs and ruining our economy" BS, I can't imagine how anyone could be ok with this. And this isn't solely a Trump thing, but the way this country has handled illegal immigrants, especially children too young to make their own decisions, has always been sickening.

I went to one of those Rick Hahn Q & A sessions on Monday. I found it funny when he was asked a question about Dylan Cease, and the first thing he did was make a joke about how Fangraphs doesn't think he's a top 131 prospect

In the process of watching all movies 1-8 with my girlfriend, who has only seen Rogue One. Watching the prequels, after having seen TLJ, gives me a new, weird appreciation for them. I've always loved episode 3 but 1 and 2 weren't as bad as I remembered, perhaps because of how I felt about TLJ

Anyone play Fortnite on the Switch yet?

GT: Indians @ White Sox - 7:10/8:10ET

To be fair the original post said "have a good chance to win", not "will win" -
Another? What are some others? And that isn't true at all. The next two years are cheap team options, and the third is a cheap mutual option.

If he has another good outing against Cleveland tonight I might have to join this bandwagon. I've been in the "he has improved, but he isn't this good" camp, but he hasn't shown signs of stopping yet.

Thanks, I forgot about that

He does need to work on the walk rate but I couldn't care less about his ERA. 48% of his earned runs allowed came from 2 (two) starts.

Corresponding move? Thyago Viera or someone?
