  1. My point is that win-now moves like that are dumb and detrimental to his development. How will he improve as a RHH if we don't give him ample opportunity to?
  2. It's just because it's a LHP. Also he had a good series in Cleveland IMO
  3. I agree that we need to maximize his PAs as a right hander hitter in order to help him improve. Hitting him 6th/7th is a win-now move.
  4. He's statistically having one of the worst offensive seasons in the history of baseball for a full time player.
  5. I'd flip Moncada and Davidson's positions.
  6. Booker is/was a 24 year old playing in high-A. I'm sure he did improve but I still consider him to just be another guy
  7. Kyle Tucker is probably ready for them too. Not sure if they're gonna wait until next April though, or trade him
  8. No, I just think the stat is way too subjective to matter. He has had some bad plays for sure, but far more good ones.
  9. For every "error", there are 2-3 plays he makes on a ball that the average 2B wouldn't get to. These plays involving impressive range that may look routine tend to go unnoticed by fans which is why some infielders are so underrated/overrated defensively (take Jeter, for example). Moncada's range is ridiculous. Moving him off of 2B would be a big mistake
  10. His 9.5% walk rate should be 11.7% at least, by my math
  11. Oh, did we suddenly cut Soria, Jones, Covey, Avilan, Fry, and Cedeno?
  12. I agree that his defense has taken a step back but he still ranks as the #6 2B in baseball
  13. How much longer are we gonna fall for this? He's streaky but he always ends the season with pretty similar numbers.
  14. That may be true, but regardless, I trust that table over a 27 AB sample

  16. I would've liked to see Jose Rondon bat there
  17. Maybe he's balding.
  18. There's not a single thing Engel does better than Tilson. Easy answer for me.
  19. I believe Basto got released yesterday and the roster just hasn't updated
