Vaughn will be the best hitter out of anyone aside from Eloy IMO

Agreed. Give him the 7th, if he runs into any trouble then have him split the inning with Bummer. Bummer gets the full 8th, Colome the 9th.

Ha, my thoughts as well. But I like this hook. Off day tomorrow, Marshall/Bummer/Colome and others fully rested, just bullpen the rest of this one.

FS Podcast: Keith Law
It’s crazy how little people seem to be talking about this, especially relative to last year. He’s 24 and looks like a perennial all-star.

New Sox Podcast on The Athletic
I feel like they're basically the same person with the same opinions on everything so I'm curious to see if the podcast reflects that

Rumor: Cease will be called up "very soon"
- White Sox vs Nationals 7:10 CT Despaigne vs Anibal Sanchez
I agree with that until the last two sentences, but the walking issue plagues Leury as well. I don't want either of them leading off for the long-term, but I want Tim leading off now because he's a better hitter and because I want him getting the PAs. When Jay is back, I'm guessing they'll go with Jay 1st, Leury 6th-8th, which I guess I would be fine with. Jay really serves no purpose anymore but whatever- White Sox vs Nationals 7:10 CT Despaigne vs Anibal Sanchez
There's a lot more to it than that, though- White Sox vs Nationals 7:10 CT Despaigne vs Anibal Sanchez
Agreed. What makes you say that? (re: Anderson) I would've agreed with you last year but the quality of his PAs is awesome this year, way better than Leury's IMO.- White Sox vs Nationals 7:10 CT Despaigne vs Anibal Sanchez
It's better but Anderson (.849) 7th with Garcia (.667) 1st is still really bad- ASG Voting Update
Velander I can see. Giolito has been better than Odorizzi though- ASG Voting Update
Me neither. I think it unfairly benefits the Red Sox/Yankees etc.- ASG Voting Update
Under the new format, all that matters is being top 3, since that's what gets you to the next round. Moncada is 8th for 3B, despite probably being the 4th best 3B in the AL and the 3rd best who is healthy. whitesox.com/vote- PTC Monday June 10th at 7:10 PM CDT Washington at Chicago
Eloy Jimenez- Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
From a value standpoint, if Beer is actually limited to just DH, I don't know if he's as untradeable as the raw numbers may suggest I don't want us to trade Abreu, if my username doesn't give that away, but the writing is on the wall. Vaughn is going to mash as a 1B and Collins/Burger/FA will probably end up DHing.- Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
I wonder if Houston would take Abreu and Leury for Seth Beer- Moncada
- White Sox @ Royals 1:15 pm CST Lopez vs Sparkman
We have a 3 man rotation right now, no matter how bad Lopez is, I think he’s staying put- Rumor: Cease will be called up "very soon"
Renteria laughs at the idea of Dylan Cease being called up rather than using some bullpen days- Ricky Renteria Has Made Me a Lineup Scold
Still not a fan. Leury and his .681 OPS at leadoff while Tim rots in the 7 spot isn’t worthy of praise- White Sox @ Royals 1:15pm CST. Giolito vs Keller
- Rumor: Cease will be called up "very soon"
He's listed as starting for Charlotte tomorrow- White Sox @ Royals 1:15pm CST. Giolito vs Keller
I love that McCann is calling for a slider-heavy game today. The Royals have seen Giolito so often, it's a great idea to mix things up. - White Sox vs Nationals 7:10 CT Despaigne vs Anibal Sanchez
