Jose Abreu

We have a 3 man rotation right now, no matter how bad Lopez is, I think he’s staying put

Renteria laughs at the idea of Dylan Cease being called up rather than using some bullpen days

Still not a fan. Leury and his .681 OPS at leadoff while Tim rots in the 7 spot isn’t worthy of praise

He's listed as starting for Charlotte tomorrow

I love that McCann is calling for a slider-heavy game today. The Royals have seen Giolito so often, it's a great idea to mix things up.

These seem to be getting a lot of praise but I think they're hideous. A weird cross between the Bengals and Michigan Wolverines

Jose Rondon

Totally fine with Alonso being out for Rondon. But the order sucks, and this explanation makes it worse

It's like the only thing he ever posts

Another great lineup from Ricky

Probably, but I fear Vizquel will be even worse so I'm indifferent

Rios was solid, but Moncada is also on pace to crush both of those marks this year. He’s on pace for ~5.3 fWAR

Robert-Jimenez-Vaughn will be a pretty good 3-4-5. Surround them with Moncada and Collins and it'll be close enough to a LHH middle guy

Ha, I get why he's there but that's really funny. He's literally a man amongst boys there.

I wanted Harper more for off-field reasons but still think Machado would have been the better fit. You'd have him instead of Yolmer Sanchez, not Moncada. Plus I'm still confident in a long-term OF of Jimenez/Robert/one of Gonzalez/Basabe.

Dietrich isn't just a one year wonder. I mean sure, this is the one year that he's playing at an MVP level. But he has always been a solid hitter. Even if he isn't the absolute monster he is right now, he at least has a track record of being a versatile player with decent offense

You don’t think he’d cost Rutherford so you’d offer them a better prospect instead?

anderson

He'd be an awesome fit. Plus the clubhouse would love him

I also think Robert is way too good defensively to not be the CFer.

It's a good thing that relief pitcher ERA doesn't matter.

Yolbert Sanchez

I don't know, but I do think that Renteria/Vizquel will gift him the 1/2 spot even if Robert/Moncada/Anderson are more deserving

I just wish he would sell out a little bit. Raising his K% by even just 4-7% and compensating for it by adding points to his slugging would make him a much better prospect IMO. He generates so much weight transfer on his swing, the potential for it is definitely there.
