  1. Also, Cishek might be pissed that he didn't get the win. Lol.
  2. Good question. Gio did not get the win because he was 1 out shy of qualifying. A starter needs to go 5 innings. So that part you are right. Cishek came in and relieved him. Cishek got the out. Heuer pitched the next inning. All 3 pitchers always had the lead. But only 2 were eligible for the win. The score keeper went with Heuer. His discretion.
  3. One of the things that may get overlooked with all the homeruns tonight is how the bullpen is really coming together. Heuer picks up his first career win! Congrats Cody.
  4. I'm done with the Nomar Mazara thing. Sadly, I would rather see Engel there.
  5. Eventually I do think the whitesox front office and the analytics department both are going to clash with Ricky's lineups. Hasn't ever been an issue before this because 1- we've been so bad and 2- haven't really been all in on the analytics. But now that we're competing, how patient will the Sox be with Ricky's lineups not to mention his undying loyalty (or is it fear) to move Jose from the 3 spot? I wonder if Jose is willing to bat somewhere else in the lineup?
  6. So when the sox go to Cleveland, Steve Stone and Jason will broadcast the game from GRF watching the same feed we are?
  7. And setting the tone for Lopez too. Talk about a guy needing a shot of confidence! To me it's a head scratcher that Coop and RR have Lopez slotted 3rd. I would've had Lopez 5th and Cease 3rd. To me Dunning pitched as good as Lopez in ST pt.2. Also, the Sox have a little familiarity with Meada over the last 2 years sharing the same spring training facilities with the Dodgers. On a side note, I never would have bet that the first homer of the season from our catchers would've come from McCann. This lineup is so deep!
  8. I agree. Eloy needs to be hitting closer to Moncada should not be hitting 6th. I'd put him 3rd or 4th.
  9. Pretty much. Don't know what else you would call it. Darvish had a 29 pitch max per inning?
  10. So how would you set the rotation? 1 Giollito 2 Keuchel 3 Cease 4 Rodon 5 Gonzalez/Lopez
  11. It doesn't necessarily have to be close to Toronto. It just needs to be in the East. What about Charlotte?
  12. Madrigal has been outplaying Garcia. I could see him work his way in the opening day lineup.
  13. You are absolutely correct with that statement.
  14. I do kinda remember this one though 5 years $16 million. But to be honest, had to Google it for the dollar amount. Was thinking it was 12 million. But I also forgot all about it until today.
  15. Thanks Jack. I just googled it. I really don't know how I missed that. So at least 5 yrs $70 million with an option that could take that to $90 million. Very good contract. Like it.
  16. We extended Robert this offseason. I didn't know about Moncada. There were early talks about extending Moncada back in February but was put on hold when they closed spring training.
  17. Sorry. My bad. I'm in Portage. Dyer, St. Johns all the same area to me.
  18. Right. He has been doing this for 2 years. There are large Hispanic communities and barbers in nwi. I have a friend who uses his same barber in Sherrilville or Dyer? Forget which one.
  19. I'm kinda confused in the 60 man roster and how some of the organizations think differently with it. For example hardly any top prospects are included on the 60 man for the Orioles. Same with the Red Sox. In fact, Baseball America points this out and says the Red Sox are constructing their 60 man with contention in mind this year? Have they seen the Red Sox starting rotation? Anyways, I guess I don't understand all the new rules for the 60 man roster. And why do some orgs include top prospects and others don't? Is there an advantage?
