Keynan Middleton rips White Sox 'no rules' culture
Exactly, that’s why it’s called a uniform, everyone and everything should be uniform.

Keynan Middleton rips White Sox 'no rules' culture
The trouble with calling out people by name is because of trades you never know what is your next organization or who your new teammates will be so you must be careful when burning bridges but nothing at all surprises me with Middleton’s comments.

Keynan Middleton rips White Sox 'no rules' culture
Middleton said he heard the same crap was going on in 2021, there is no doubt that TLR’s management last year screwed up this team immensely and got the team to this horrible point where they stand today with their horrible play and attitudes. That also falls on JR because it was he who hired TLR against objections from Hahn though I’m not sure if Kenny Williams was on board.

Keynan Middleton rips White Sox 'no rules' culture
It’s hard to believe how bad this organization has become. If JR is as miserable as reports say he is and he is still mentally competent he must as soon as possible fire the whole front office and minor league organization. Let the new GM hire a new manager who can bring in his own coaches, with almost 2 months still left in the season they will have time to evaluate the players and determine who they should keep and who has to go, we as fans aren’t stupid and have figured what players should go so it shouldn’t be too hard for the new manager and coaches. The franchise is a complete embarrassment and those of us who love and support the Chicago White Sox deserve so much better.

New White Sox Stadium?
The city has probably seen its best days but the suburbs are still vibrant and not losing population like the city. If I were a billionaire and bought the Sox, it’s somewhere in the suburbs where I would look to build a new stadium. That market hasn’t been tested and would probably be a gold mine for the Sox.

This Day In Sox History...August 6
I listened to that 1959 game on my transistor radio under my pillow, what a great performance by Billy. Nowadays it’s takes 3 or 4 games for starting pitchers to put in 16 innings of work and they still come down with all kinds of arm troubles.

8/6 Victory Thread - The White Sox Win 5-3, Win The Series 2-1 and Win The Season Series 8-5
I get you now, I thought you meant individual series. Well we did finish 2-1 against the Reds so that’s one more.

8/6 Victory Thread - The White Sox Win 5-3, Win The Series 2-1 and Win The Season Series 8-5
It’s not true, check my last post.

8/6 Victory Thread - The White Sox Win 5-3, Win The Series 2-1 and Win The Season Series 8-5
Off the top of my head we had series wins with KC, Detroit, Minnesota, 2 now with Cleveland, Cincinnati, Red Sox, Yankees, Atlanta and maybe 1 more

Sox, Tribe, Peacock at High Noon Sunday, EDT.
I don’t care for tanking, I like wins and these last 2 were nice.

Sox vs Guardians, Sat
This is still one of the best baseball fights ever. 1957 at Comiskey, our Walt Dropo destroyed the Yankees Enos Slaughter.
-
Sox vs Guardians, Sat
Aah, you can’t beat fun at the old ballpark.
-
Sox vs Guardians, Sat
Why didn’t AV do that in the first inning.
-
Sox vs Guardians, Sat
I’ve never been a fan of his and just want him gone.
-
Sox vs Guardians, Sat
I agree, the Royals will finish ahead of the Sox.
-
Sox vs Guardians, Sat
That was probably a roof shot at old Comiskey.
-
Sox vs Guardians, Sat
We’ve been seeing the real Remillard for a couple of weeks now.
-
Sox vs Guardians, Sat
On top of it he was almost tagged out trying to get back to the bag.
-
Sox vs Guardians, Sat
Just DFA him, chalk it up to a bad contract, with bad luck and a bad player who has his money and doesn’t give 2 shits.
-
Sox vs Guardians, Sat
Again sacks full of Sox with no outs and the same result, no runs.

f*** This Organization
I watched many Cubs games on WGN back in the Brickhouse days and always pulled against the other team. When it comes to Baseball, I’m for 2 clubs, the Go Go White Sox and whoever is playing the Cubs

f*** This Organization
Wrigley was a great place to watch Bears football, with those temporary stands in right field you were very close to the action, the end zones were only 8 yards, saw quite a few games there in the late 50s and early 60s and sold peanuts when I was a vendor at both Comiskey and Wrigley in 1962.

f*** This Organization
I go back to the early 50s and I have no memory of there being fans of both teams. I remember it being more divided than it is nowadays, we always said if someone stated he was for both teams it was because he was not a native Chicagoan. Growing up in Rogers Park on the far north side my closest circle of friends were about 80% Sox fans and 20% Cub fans.

f*** This Organization
I grew up hating the Cubs and it continues to this day but probably not a much as one time probably because living in Florida I don’t have to deal with their fans anymore, I have one buddy in my golf group who’s a Cub fan but he’s not at all obnoxious, it’s the Red Sox fans that are the ones that are obnoxious, one of them in my golf group is unbelievable, he thinks the world ends at the Massachusetts border. He was really annoying this past Hockey season when the Bruins were unbeatable, I was never so happy when they lost to the Panthers in the first of the playoffs, I’m still giving him grief about it. As far as the Sox go, there’s not much more to say than what has already been said, this season has really been depressing and with the clowns in charge I have no idea and how long it’s going to take to get the franchise back to respectability.

Rick’s 2024 “Core” Players
I agree, the Mercedes incident had to be one of the contributing circumstances.
