The Sox will probably win 2 out of the next 3, get to .500 with a nice road trip but lose all their mojo because of the break.

It's a little too early to plan a playoff rotation but Cueto has been one hell of signing, I don't think he's had a bad outing with us. As of right now they have to consider bringing him back unless they have other free agent pitchers they want to sign, again a little too early.

Hoping for 3 wins, 2 will be OK but won't be surprised if only 1.

Good analysis, I for one has never been on Hahn's case because I know that he works for JR but I won't get started on that because I've despised JR for most of the 41 years he has been the chairman.

It's just been such a frustrating season and I might have let my emotions get the best of me but for some reason our guys are not performing to the best of their abilities, just about everyone agrees that there have a quite a few instances of lack of hustle and not too smart baseball like our guys running into that triple play last week. Last night some here were on Anderson for some bonehead play, I didn't watch the game so I wasn't sure what transpired. As they say, things can only get better.

If the Sox decide to go for it and are buyers, they have to find a legitimate rightfielder who can hit, it has to be the highest priority. Forget about Eloy in leftfield, he's useless besides being stupid and lazy. Stick with Pollock in left and let the chips fall with him. Vaughn can DH with trading places with Abreu when Jose needs a rest in the field. If there's a real tough righthanded facing us, Sheets can DH and also give Jose some rest at first base but please no AV, Sheets or Eloy in the outfield.

There is one guy in charge of hiring and firing and at 86 years old is probably as mentally challenged as the guy he hired to manage this mess.

7 more on this road trip, realistically a .500 trip would be good, the Sox just need to start winning at home.

I liked R.R. and really hated the hiring of TLR, I hate it even more starting with the All Star break last year, maybe earlier when he threw Yermin under the bus. We don't know if TLR is the cause of the dissension on the team but it sure wouldn't surprise me as the players have to be scratching their heads as much as we are with all the bizarre moves by him.

Actually The Villages is a pretty active place, TLR wouldn't fit in.

Not sure if I want to call the up-coming road trip crucial but it's pretty damn important.

Old guys like me remember Sherm Lollar who was a great catcher and good hitter but Vaughn is a speed demon compared to Sherm.

4 games against the Clevelanders and 4 against the Twins coming up next week, this could be make or break but first we have to beat the Tigers again tomorrow.

Twins lose again to Texas, someway, somehow the Sox are only 3 games out in the loss column.

JR is 86 years old, quite possible the elevator isn't making it to the top floor anymore.

Why they keep trotting those ugly's drives me insane as I'm not insane enough as I've been following this team since 1952.

On paper they should be running away with the division, instead they can't even play .500 ball. Something is wrong and if I knew maybe I would be in the Sox front office. My gut feeling is that Hahn and KW know it's TLR but the last word goes to JR, somehow, someway they have to persuade JR that TLR has lost his skills as a manager and let him go, there is still time to turn this season around.

I honestly know, TLR should be in the Happy Valley Rest Home. I'll help foot the bill.
