"Game of LOLs 2" Mets @ White Sox
QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Jun 27, 2013 -> 02:16 AM) Yea and hawk was a complete jerk and didn't say anything and started mentioning scores. Wonder why hawk dislikes him so much Absolutely right. He didn't want to talk about it. I guess Dunn has most favored nation status with Hawk, too. Southern boy.

"Game of LOLs 2" Mets @ White Sox
STONE: Talked about how well Dunn is swinging the bat. Then while Dunn was hitting he said: "The Yankees have a whole lot of money -- and they're going to need a first baseman." Get it Dunn, ASAP

Did anybody else hear Stone suggest the Yankees might have interest in Dunn now that Tex is out for the year? Gotta play it back and listen to that again. Get it Dunn Stone Pony.

6/25 Games
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 26, 2013 -> 03:32 AM) Haha. With our RISP tendencies, he'd probably never score. That almost equals Ramirez, Viciedo and Keppinger for the season. Let me guess....he's as fast as one of the Molina brothers? But he's got TWTW!!

Mets @ White Sox in "A GAME OF LOLS"
DJ keeps bashing Beckham on post-game radio show. Good for him.

Mets @ White Sox in "A GAME OF LOLS"
I'll give credit to DJ on the radio. He ripped Beckham pretty hard for that play and said this was the major leagues and there was NO excuse for that to happen.

should have been ashamed to celebrate that one.

I hope these guys all have good golf games, otherwise I don't know what they did in spring training.

So ARam's punishment for his stellar play in KC is staying out there and suffering some more.

6/25 Games
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 26, 2013 -> 12:38 AM) Looks like Chris Beck got injured today, as he only went .2 innings. Might have pulled him because he was awful -- three hits and three walks. Got the first two outs -- then nada.

6/24 Games
Anderson seems to be holding his own. Hawkins, not so much.

Letting AJ walk was dumb idea
Johnny Bench is the only guy who would have helped this team. Cutting AJ loose was the right call. Trusting Flowers to be the everyday catcher was the wrong call. The only thing that matters is finding a full-time catcher for 2014 and beyond. Not sure if Phegley is the guy or not. We won't know until he gets his crack But if he isn't, the Sox front office has some serious, serious work to do.

6/23- Sox @ KC
I believe Ramirez has played every inning at SS this season. I'm sure they'd love to dump him. I'm not sure who would take him. And who plays SS when he's gone -- Keppinger, Beckham, Sanchez, Morel??? No good option. It's time for a change. No doubt. But who do they change to?

6/23- Sox @ KC
Whatever happened to Alexei Ramirez?

6/23 games: Erik Johnson debut
Phegley had two hits, average up to .327. Second in the league in OPS at .989. Morel and Sanchez 3 hits each. Morel up to .285.

You = Hahn. Do you heavily shop Reed, Yes or No?
Sure. Let's trade him and go back to the days of Billy Koch. Would send a message to many fans that the Sox just don't get a bleep.

6/23 games: Erik Johnson debut
not a bad debut. dealing with nerves, travel, new environment. He's our most ready prospect -- gives us another starting option for next season. With Sale, Santiago, Quintana, Axelrod, Danks and Johnson, we can deal Peavy (if he gets healthy) and try to get a piece to help for the future. You're on the clock, Mr. Hahn.

6/23 games: Erik Johnson debut
Four scoreless -- with three hits (all singles) and four walks.

6/23 games: Erik Johnson debut
Per Mark Gonzales of the Tribune: Erik Johnson will make his AAA debut for Charlotte today in Indy. first pitch at 1:35 p.m. EDT. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?sid=t494

Buddy Bell watching Johnson start
Ooops. Change of plans. Mark Gonzales just tweeted that Erik Johnson is making his AAA debut for Charlotee in Indianapolis today.

Buddy Bell watching Johnson start
For Charlotte: Leesman today. Berken Monday. TBA Tuesday. Guess that will be Johnson's AAA debut in Louisville, where the first hitter he will face will be Billy Hamilton.

Buddy Bell watching Johnson start
1. You have to keep Reed. He's been effective. He is affordable. He has been durable. And he is still learning and tring to improve. 2. It's silly to even suggest a high school kid can come into the big leagues and pitch effectively. Danish has a long way to go. 3. Back to my original question: Does anybody know when Johnson is scheduled to pitch for Charlotte?

Buddy Bell watching Johnson start
When is Johnson making his first start for Charlotte? I believe they play in Indianapolis Saturday, Sunday, Monday and then four games in Louisville.
