6/4 Games
I'll predict we see Phegley before the all-star break. Flowers belongs in a league where they ride a bus.

Roster Changes Coming?
looks like the same lineup to me -- other than #15.

Roster Changes Coming?
Sounds great. But with the contracts on the books and the lack of options in the minor leagues, what are the real possibilities? Not many. Here is my list of five guys who earned a meeting in the Principal's Office: 1. Tyler Flowers -- for general incompetence. 2. ARam -- for too many brain cramps to outline. 3. DeAza -- for forgetting what made him a reasonably functional player last year. 4. Viciedo -- for trying to play left field like Podsednik and Pierre 5. Jones -- for ball one, ball two, ball three ...

No. I'll just take Magglio Ordonez. Or Carlos Lee. Or even Aaron Rowand.

6/2 Games
QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 06:16 PM) Phegley in the lineup tonight. but not the lineup I'd like to see him in. I expect we will finally see Phegley in late July or early August.

6/2 - Sox at A's
Comments like that are dumb. Always vague. So then everybody starts guessing who the guilty parties are. usually we don't know. And won't know.

Phegley didn't play. Maybe he was on a plane to Oakland. I can dream.

Won't be satisfied until all of us have been driven away. And doing a good job of it.

Make a crazy trade idea
Ramirez for an outfielder who can catch the ball and make contact.

Dunn?
I'll credit Rogers for at least starting the conversation that Dunn is the elephant in the room that the Chicago media refuses to address. Dunn needs to hit the road -- and maybe putting public pressure on management will speed the process. It's not enough to make me long for the days of Mariotti. But the kid-gloves treatment of Dunn because he's a nice guy and has handled his 'struggles' so well is silly. How hard can it be to handle the struggles when you're making $14 million a year and everybody keeps telling you to keep your chin up, kid. He can't produce as a major-league hitter any more -- and Ventura still parks him in the clean-up spot. It's 20 miles beyond absurd.

Conor Gillaspie is not a good player
Hawk says he's the next Craig Nettles and that he has the quickest left-handed stroke in the AL. Said it so many times he got a sore throat. If Hawk said it, it must be so.

5/30 Games
be interested to see if Micah Johnson makes the Baseball America Friday Prospect Hot Sheet today. They have a strong track record of ignoring Sox prospects. Believe that Phegley and Erik Johnson the only two to get recognized this season.

Dunn?
Hooray for Phil Rogers. I see he has a story on the Trib web site in which he at least raises the possibility that Dunn take his cheerful attitude and go home because he is absurdly terrible. He doesn't think it will happen, but he at least raises the idea. Only wish other folks in the Chicago media would dial up the pressure on the White Sox to cut loose the XXXXL-albatross.

Micah Johnson and Josh Phegley -- the Indiana University connection.

Question time
Mitchell can't even hit .225 in AA. He couldn't hit .200 in AAA. He might get a September call up just out of courtesy, but he has provided ZERO evidence he is a big-league player. Walker has been overmatched at AA all season. Hawkins started at High A ball and slowed slight improvement before he got hurt. Let him go back there.
