Considering how much money the Sox paid Peavy over 3 1/2 seasons while getting about 1 1/2 years of valuable production, I understand the sentiment to see him leave. At 21, he hit 2 in 558 plate appearances in Columbus before finishing the season in New York that is 16 HRs in more than 2,000 minor league plate appearances.
