And it will be even longer before I forgive Kenny Williams for forcing his exit with the garbage contracts given to Rios and, especially, Dunn,. Just a sad, sad day for Sox fans.

The guy plays hard and produces, but he is an injury waiting to happen -- and he gets hit by so many pitches he's due to suffer a broken bone taking one of the wrist or hand soon. factor in our payroll and he's a goner.

You can deal him at midseason. I just cringe if Kenny is the one choosing the prospects. Seen enough of Nunez, Marquez, Adkins and a few other gems he's come up with.

If Ozzie is going to be on Baseball Tonight, there will be more to come. After that, perhaps there will be a break until spring training -- and then again when the Marlins visit chicago. That should be the end of it.

Strong comments from Hawk against Ozzie. Basically said Ozzie changed the last few years and that the players didn't like it when Ozzie asked for the new contract after they won five straight games. said the team was starting to pressure the Tigers and that wasn't the time for Ozzie to pop off.

hawk said the manager and general manager have to get along but for whatever reason there was a lot of discord. Our team doesn't have a dominant personality. so it took on a ozzie's personality, but he was more subdued and team took on that subdued personality. sounds like he sides with Kenny over Ozzie.

Hawk said he thought this team had a chance to be the most talented Sox team, but this team started flat in spring training and stayed there.

Hawk said this year and 1984 his two toughest years in broadcasting.
