  1. this is astounding
  2. four innings seven left on base two on third three on second two on first. other than that, perfection.
  3. Tyler Kuhn two more hits at Charlotte tonight. he's now over .300 after starting 3 for 24. hit .360 at birmingham. Give him a look in September.
  4. looks like another crowd in the low 20,000. Not enough to really make some noise booing Rios and the other stiff.
  5. plenty of time to reach doublefigures.
  6. how about o-for-the rest of August and September. I don't know about retiring, but he should offer Chairman Reinsdorf a rebate.
  7. First comedian Stephen Colbert took a shot at Adam Dunn. http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-r...-in--60-seconds Now it is The Onion, which reported yesterday that Major League Baseball has decided that Adam Dunn no longer meets the minimum requirements to be considered a major-league baseball player. Dunn celebrated the decision by knocking his .163 average down to .161. http://www.theonion.com/articles/with-163-...idered-a,21121/
  8. Kenny told him Dunn is about to break out of it any minute.
  9. Sometimes I wonder how Dunn faces the other guys in the dugout and clubhouse and on the plane. what a joke.
  10. That was better than a beanball.
  11. one of those game-deciding moments right here.
  12. Dunn 5 for his last 34. That's .147. But he walks a lot.
  13. have any folks actually watched Escobar? Does he have any chance to be a big-league regular? can't imagine Morel and Escobar on the left side of the infield as a viable offensive combination.
  14. blame the loss on dunn. I do.
  15. Thanks Jason. Nice pitch to a AAA hitter. ugly.
  16. who's left on our bench? Lilli, Flowers and Alexei And in the pen? Santos, thornton and Sale?
  17. Bucky Baseball refuses to fear Rios -- and wins.
  18. walk Rios to get to Dunn?
  19. Dunn home run in the 11th
  20. hope this game doesn't go 14. Who's coming in then? Peavy?
  21. I'd rather see Buehrle hit than Dunn.
  22. Kuhn continues to impress. He's adjusted at AAA after a slow start. He's a left-handed bat. And he can play 2b, SS, 3b or LF. at league minium salary, he can be a valuable piece in 2012 or 2013.
  23. every team, other than the Yankees, needs a few guys who play for MLB minimum, especially a team wasting $30 million on Dunn and Rios. Morel D has been outstanding. I'm willing to be patient and see if he can improve.
