3/29 Games
Nastrini with 6 K’s now. Lotta strike to ball breaking balls. Not sure it is an approach that would work on mlb hitters, but it has been effective tonight.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
Vaughn has a month every year where he’s the worst hitter in mlb. I hope April is not that month this year, but he does not look good.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
Oof. Clevinger just gifted them the game. Cannon fields that ball easily.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
I can’t wait for the second Amaya DFA.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
Gotta give Cannon credit. Battled through an up and down start. The Angels are not good, but nice job.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
Soriano gonna throw a Maddox at this rate.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
Vaughn is a tough watch when he’s scuffling.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
I think West Coast teams complained about too many home games in April so league gave them what they asked for.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
Would have been better than a 55 mph grounder to short.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
Liked the way most of the guys battled there. Both Vargas and Robert busted down the line. Great at bat by Benny. Vaughn… meh.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
Classic Moncada there.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
Why is every thread on this board suddenly about Canario? Maybe he’s gonna be good or bad but he’s hardly the most important story in mlb.

Angels/Sox 3/29...
I am mildly shocked that Amaya is at short every day. I guess the glove is pretty darn good, but a team that struggles to score giving up a line up spot every day.

3/28 GT - Stripers at Knights
Adisyn Coffey definitely looks like he could pitch in mlb. Maybe not a closer, but it’s good stuff and he throws strikes.

3/28 GT - Stripers at Knights
Shuster strikes out the side. He has looked really good other than one absurdly long home run.

3/28 GT - Stripers at Knights
Meidroth, Colson, Quero, Teel, and Elko have all contributed tonight. Quite a few Ks, but good night so far.

3/28 GT - Stripers at Knights
HR Teel.

3/28 GT - Stripers at Knights
Man, Meidroth looks really good at 2b.

3/28 GT - Stripers at Knights
Shuster in, so he is not transitioning back to starting.

Elko oppo BOMB

3/28 GT - Stripers at Knights
Terrific play by Meidroth to end second. Knights throwing some leather.

Love how Sergio is giving the prospects maximum at bats. Starting a career reliever on OD. Charlotte is back to not having a pitching staff thanks to all the injuries.

Opening Day 26-Man Roster
This is probably the worst Opening Day roster I have ever seen. Robert is a legit mlb player. I'm not sure anyone else is a lock to be i the league two years from now. Here's an interesting exercise: would you be SHOCKED if this player was DFA'd in the next three months? Lee - No Thaiss - No Vaughn - A little Sosa - No Amaya - No Vargas - No Benintendi -Yes Robert - Yes Slater - Kinda Jankowski - No Taylor - No Baldwin - Yes Maton - No I think there is some upside in guys like Lee, Sosa, and Vargas. But if things go horribly wrong, not a lot keeping them in the league. Amaya, Maton, Taylor, and Jankowski -- I would be shocked if they're not DFA at some point. Slater is owed some money, so that's why I'd be a little surprised.

Sox Spring Training notes
I don't like Saucke much because to the plate discipline. Maybe Fuller helps him with that and he surprises me.

Sox Spring Training notes
Makarewicz looked pretty good at Kanny last year, but he's really old for the level and I don't think he sticks at 3b. I wonder if he makes it to W-S or mans 1b at Kanny. Miller-Green is a great story but he's very old and did not hit. I may have a better path as a relief arm. I barely saw McCants play, but I doubt he's gonna get too many ABs considering who's in Kanny's OF. I see them having a bunch of significant prospects including Bonemer, Wolkow, Braden Montgomery, McLain, Mogollon, and Ronny Hernandez. They'll probably also get Arxy Hernandez. That team is gonna mash.
