  1. Based on his three games' worth of at bats so far, I really think this is the year Matt Davidson puts it all together.
  2. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 10, 2016 -> 01:14 PM) Anyone grab The Division? Looked cool at E3 a couple of years ago. Haven't seen any reviews yet. It's great. It's a game that I'm excited to get home and play, and when I'm not playing it, I badly want to be playing it. It's an addiction on a level that I haven't felt from a game in a few years. The size of the map is overwhelming and the world is detailed and beautiful. Gunplay is sharp, matchmaking is smooth and easy, and playing with friends and mixing and matching the options for skills keeps fights from getting repetitive. I'm only 4 or 5 hours in so this doesn't constitute a full review or anything, and this is a game that's up my alley; it might not be up everyone else's. I'm wondering if I'll still feel compelled to play once I'm max level and have all the best equipment, but they've teased their post-release content schedule for the next year and it seems like they'll have a nice stream of new stuff coming out all the time.
  3. I have a picture on my phone of the xfinity guide's description of an episode of @midnight when the panelists were Jesse Joyce, Jordan Carlos, and Jamie Lee. I don't know who any of those people are but it was a magical moment for someone like me who cares about two first names. I mean, just dig into it. You've got six first names between three people, all three first first names are gender neutral, and multiple ethnicities are represented. I nearly wept.
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 9, 2016 -> 02:48 PM) Rowand is the new Hawk. He even just dropped an "I'll tell you what..." on us.
  5. I wasn't listening closely but somebody please tell me Rowand didn't just say Avi shares Manny Ramirez' ability to work a pitcher.
  6. Todd Frazier rakin' some more. Also has two first names.
  7. Turner very hittable so far. Single, Double, FC groundout, single.
  8. It could mean nothing. Ultimately it's a tiny sample size, in exhibition games, with a lot of players on either team who won't be in the majors. It could also foreshadow a better start to the season. The last two seasons the Sox wallowed through March and then came out of the gate slow. The fluff pieces this year have all mentioned a focus on having the players ready. Maybe they're not lying.
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ Mar 8, 2016 -> 03:51 PM) How come Hillary supporters don't care about her alleged crimes and won't comment on my posts except to point out my disdain for Hillary? That's all I want to know. There are laws in society prohibiting government officials for putting classified information on their private email accounts. People's lives are at stake. If she gets off the hook then please, at least, pardon all those currently in prison for the same activity. Yes, I will shut up if all who are in prison are released for the same activity. I also don't like Hillary's defense in all this. She just says "I didn't do that." "I'd never do that." "This is a partisan witch hunt." Hopefully she'll have to go to trial where those answers won't be good enough. This is the 900th time you've asked "HOW COME NOBODY WILL ANSWER ME." People have argued with you, you just tune them out and listen to Limbaugh instead. Trying to convince you of anything is an exercise in pointlessness.
  10. 11 homers by 11 different players is just a really fun stat.
  11. Hit parade is on. Singles by Rollins, Abreu, Melky, followed by an Avi triple have the Sox up 3-0.
  12. Also, I don't want Melky hitting cleanup just to break up the righties. That spot is Frazier's. Melky or Lawrie should hit 2nd depending on the opposing starter.
  13. Well this is just gosh darn delightful! I take back everything I've said about the off-season; this really completes it. AJax is no Alex Gordon but what cha gonna do. Lots of synergy with this move, as others have already pointed out. Bravo!
  14. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 4, 2016 -> 04:20 PM) I love when articles like this come out and people tell everyone else not to read it ^^^ Just another Kyyle post, might as well ignore it.
  15. QUOTE (peppers312 @ Mar 4, 2016 -> 03:53 PM) per RotoWorld... "Bruce Levine of WSCR-AM reports that the White Sox "may now be focused on" Carlos Gonzalez and Jay Bruce in their pursuit of left-handed power. The report adds that CarGo's contract and the Rockies' asking price "is the holdup right now" and that Bruce "might be more practical." Levine was told by one general manager who had talks with the Rockies about Gonzalez that they asked for "my top two minor league players, a major league player and to absorb most of the contract." Bruce, meanwhile, was nearly dealt to the Blue Jays last week in a three-team trade before the deal fell apart because of a physical issue involving a prospect. He would come significantly cheaper than CarGo, but of course isn't nearly as good of a player." not sure how true this is, thought i would share.

  17. QUOTE (SoCalSox @ Mar 4, 2016 -> 02:45 PM) Is John Danks for sure their 5th starter? I know it's early but if he continues to struggle & either Turner or Johnson step up, it seems stupid to let Danks round out the rotation. I imagine his leash isn't too long. Weird footwork by Lawrie on the double play attempt.
  18. Some potential insight onto how Frazier just got picked off. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/how-did-tod...ll-those-bases/
