I don't think signing Stroman should deter them from trading for Cease. Someone posted the rotation with the last couple pages and he can definitely bump Clarke Schmidt to the pen. Might be better to add Cease and Stroman than just signing Snell. Plus, Rodon is no picture of health and Cortes missed time last year.

I think you send him to Charlotte and build innings there rather than burning more service time at the MLB level.

Possible that they shop for a cheaper option controlled beyond 1 year and deal Q's 1 year salary. His salary isn't high but they could save a little bit by doing that.

Excluding him and not getting a 4th piece or just accepting him as 4th piece? Seems like a no-brainer.
