  1. Thanks, you are correct.
  2. A's sign Japanese right-hander Shintaro Fujinami. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/01/athletics-sign-shintaro-fujinami-npb-japan.html
  3. Don't really want to post spoilers but I've seen a photo circulating where MODOK's face is revealed.
  4. What are you doin, Wegner?! We expect you out of that plane damn it.
  5. For the remainder of the off-season: Stole this idea from someone else, but sign someone like Alex Reyes, Ken Giles, Trevor Rosenthal, etc (or two of these guys) to a one year deal and they can compete for the closer job with in-house guys. Adam Duvall Minor league deals to SP for depth That's about it for me.
  6. Definitely. I figured he was safe while they shipped out one of the corner left handed hitting OFs.
  7. I meant to check that out. Maybe I'll start today.
  8. And we've already been introduced to him in a prior movie.
  9. It's gotta be higher than 21 years. The Giants agreement was 13 years and Mets was 12, right?
  10. No opt outs apparently. Twins did well here.
  11. Replace Popeye with Marisnick. As of right now, I feel like he’d be favorite for right-handed OF bench option.
  12. It was more than 1 year. The opt out was after 1st year. And they did over I think 10 year, $285M contract earlier in the off-season I think.
  13. As a "f*** you" to Steve Cohen AND the Twins, maybe lol
  14. They'll inevitably overpay for a closer/backend reliever at the deadline.
  15. My thoughts as well. Seemed like there was traction for a pitcher + Wendle to Boston.
  16. Ok point was just some team could be interested lol
  17. Yeah either guy for sure. Trevor Rosenthal as well. No idea how his health is though and too lazy to look.
  18. I was definitely thinking these 2 teams. The Mets dump too if they dump some of Carrasco's contract and open up a spot in the rotation.
  19. Idk you’d still think a pitching needing team like Baltimore would take a chance on him.
  20. I was just going to say, there are other players in other sports that have gotten jobs.
  21. Yeah I don't think so either but I get the idea of seeing if anyone wants him at basically league minimum, which teams can do when he's a free agent but with no potential competition anyway. Dude may be pitching in Mexico. Edit: I have thought that maybe teams that already do not draw well would maybe take a chance since backlash would be minimal.
  22. Makes sense. A team that could potentially be interested in signing him could just trade basically nothing (cash considerations?) for him (Dodgers pay all of salary minus league minimum). Have no idea what team could be interested though. Maybe Rays?
  23. If anyone can kick cancer's teeth in, it's Liam. Best wishes!
  24. Yeah I don’t see how he wouldn’t miss anytime.
  25. Yeah you can almost argue that Burger has a shot at a bench spot as backup 1B/3B.
