I've seen it reference in article, but it seems like a reach that he's been referred to as "Cuban Ohtani" with only 3 innings of pitching experience under his belt. And he does look like he lost some weight.

Yeah 80 is good. 76, like you said they would have left, plus 4 days off for All-Star break that they can play games instead of being off gives you the 80.

I couldn't find much on his pitching stats when I looked the other day. Baseball Reference shows him throwing 3 innings in a Winter League almost 2 years ago and thats it. If he comes over, I don't think he will be a 2-way player.

And when you're traveling half the season (which is about a half year) and spending most of your time at the ballpark when you are home anyway, does it really matter which city you are living in? I'd take the most money for sure. Especially when you figure the Phillies offer is likely more significant than what the Sox would potentially have offered (based on their Machado offer).

I'd rather watch KBO games than old games that are being re-aired. I like the exposure to new players.

You mean 6 spots. Also, we were already talking about the final roster spot in another thread before this whole thing started so might as well make it 7. Guys like Romine and Cuthbert have a good chance of sticking if its 30-32 spots. Collins, I would have starts in the minors but who knows whats going on with minor league seasons this year.
