Last year's tagline for the offense could have been: blink and you'll miss it.

Great defensive play by Vargas that inning

It's weird when your current owner is Jerry Reinsdorf. -
I wish I had started already.

You gotta bet Runline or Alternate Runlines (so to lose by 2 or more)

We're already at the threshold of hell. There may be a non-0% chance that it will be worse but I'm willing to take that chance. -
White Sox asking for "top prospects" for Robert

Highly doubt anything in the past couple weeks has moved the needle for teams. -

And I think there's a chance they will...under Jerry Reinsdorf -

Idk it's VERY hard to be worse than Jerry. We've been to the playoffs like three times in the last 20 years and are coming off a historically awful season. At worst, it stays the same but we get a cool stadium out of it. -

Yeah I think it will be longer than some are hoping for. It isn't going to be that instant. However, I think it could be by end of 2026 whenever the agreement ends with the MLBPA (I'm pretty sure the last one expired in December). Ishbia is only 47 so he could wait a few years. -
Tuesday - 2/25/25 - Sox at Rox spring training

He's a reliever in that "around 30, no track record" group I kept saying they could DFA and no one should bat an eye. He's just a guy. -

And most importantly, televised. -
I can't argue against Vargas getting majority of the playing time at 3B. One time former top prospect should be playing there in a lost year. Ramos can wait his turn. I think its weird that they signed a 3B, who's best attribute is his defense at 3B, to play 2B. He may be the backup, but again, we do have depth at those 2 spots. Need a little more coverage at SS by someone at least average there defensively. Not a lot of money and he probably doesn't survive the season so it's whatever.

If you're going to keep him down, I would keep him down long enough to where it seems like he couldn't win RoY though. Because then he gets the full year anyway.
-
I think he sticks on the Mets as backup OF/platoon DH with Winker and Marte is the one who is DFA'd. Dude is moved to the bench, always hurt, and in the last year of his deal.

To the bolded: No. Definitely not. To the italicized: I feel like if they had non-tendered Vaughn in the off-season, I would have been cool giving Elko a shot. His time could come later with injuries though.

Anyone else feel like Teel may get a chance on the OD roster with a strong spring? It also allows both catching prospects to work every day at either MLB or AAA. I forgot which thread it was posted in but that write-up sounded really good on him to where I'm in on him winning RoY lol I'm in on him at +4000 odds
