Yeah that’s fine. I do too. I’m just saying at the end of spring training when you’re making decisions, give Baldwin the opportunity since he called up last year and is on 40-man and then call up Meidroth later for Amaya’s spot. Meidroth needs a 40-man spot so might as well kick that can down the road a few weeks later.

3/7 Cubs @ Sox - 2:10 CST - CANCELLED

Fook. Of course when it’s televised. -
Looking into it, Carela was optioned today, so I would assume he wouldn't be on the MLB 60-day IL. I don't think that would open up a 40-man spot.
-
Agreed. Plus, Baldwin is on the 40-man. I know they opened up 2 spots (depending on how it goes with Carela maybe one) but one spot is likely going to Drury.
-
Last year would not matter once you are added to the 40-man. However, the note earlier did say he was optioned today so maybe it's minor league IL (which I guess probably wouldn't up a spot on the 40-man).

Opens up two spots on the 40-man.

The Angels have 3 projected for rotation, along with Kyle Hendricks. I feel like it'll be Kikuchi or Tyler Anderson. -

With a (likely) lefty on the mound, I agree. Against RHP, this could be the primary lineup. -

No thanks. Let someone else make that mistake. -
I clearly understand that since I responded to you lol My “huh” is why he’s congratulating the poster.

Yeah, I will guess he makes it. I hope Gallo would show something but man is he beyond terrible. -

He's also not on the 40-man I feel like Drury is making a case to make the team. Edit 2: also, a good possibility a lefty is on the mound (which is why Fathom has Sosa at 2B. -
Yeah he's not on 40-man so he's gotta be pretty low on the depth chart. Behind the 5 MLB deal guys, Colas, and Fletcher.

Not since 5-10 years ago. Over the past 5-10 years. -
White Sox asking for "top prospects" for Robert
Bob Sacamano replied to southsider2k5's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Looking into the Mariners projected lineup, unless they are bumping a guy they just extended to the bench (Robles) which they could do, trade 2 years of Arozarena to move some money, and want to play Robert in a corner, the Mariners don't really seem like a fit. -
Thanks. I really hope Perez and Albertus become something. I didn't love the main piece at the time of the trade but hopefully someone could salvage it (maybe Vargas).

Ishbia increasing minority stake in Sox
Bob Sacamano replied to Fielder Jones's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Yeah. He could easily see it as "I'd rather own and control a team in Chicago in whatever, 2/3/4/5 years rather than own the Twins now." He's also only 47. -

I think it’ll happen too, but not for the haul people expected. -

Idk I just don’t think anything he does or anyway he looks during Spring Training is going to move the needle on a trade (outside of another team having injuries and Sox coming down on price) -

lol I just don’t think teams should really look at spring training numbers and judge one way or the other but if it’s true, I hope something gets done Robert inevitably misses a lot of time…again
