Realistically, where is this guy's position long-term (if he sticks)? I remember him not being that great at really spot in the infield. Is it in the mix at 1B since, beyond next year, there isn't really anyone else, barring a Mune extension?

Also, no one cares nor is keeping score of times right and times wrong. Except Cali I guess. Whatever helps him get off.

It isn't yet. But there does seem like there is more talent coming up from the minors than last time, with more to come. The last rebuild everyone got here and there was no one else coming.

Yeah I feel that. I prefer the weekday afternoon games because my near 2-year old and 6-month are out of the house lol I don't watch as much at night or weekends. I try to watch the quick recaps on MLBTV every morning of the previous game though. Of course, I'm working during those games but usually can carve out time to watch a game. Just front load my work day.

Really is a shame that he got injured and is getting buried. But maybe he can carve out a nice career as a 26th man/utility player spot playing both IF and OF.

I believe. The boys have been playing great baseball and the division and AL overall are meh. We can do this even if the pitching regresses a bit.

Yeah it feels different. Games it feels like they’re going to lose when they are losing early, they win. Not flat, dead in the water like what seems like the last 15+ years of Sox baseball from the mired in mediocrity years, to the rebuild, to the very small competence window that brought, and rebuild 2.0. It’s a fun season and breath of fresh air, even if the pitching doesn’t hold up. Exciting times.

Idk about Kay. I would look to add a solid #2 like you said and then maybe like a solid back-end innings eater, who may be overpaid and could be looked to be dumped by a team? Are they any guys who fit the bill? Maybe see if you can grab the dude on the Pirates who was bumped from the rotation?
