Sox at Fish #2, 5:40 CDT 3/31
It’s almost like the coaching staff told Peters to get the f*** out of the way next time.

If he was running on the pitch it’s still a stolen base. And it’s passed ball not pass ball. And it wasn’t Peters’ ball, it was Acuna’s. Learn the game.

Schriffen speaks...
Absolutely, but I root for him a little bit as a result.

Schriffen speaks...
I met him at a tailgate last season. Really nice guy. I think he’s just a super positive, upbeat guy. I don’t think it’s an act. I definitely get how that can be annoying when you’re watching your team get pummelled.

2026 MLB Draft Thread...White Sox Control Draft/Roch the House
James mentioned it will almost certainly be a high schooler in the second round, but I wonder if Bailey’s injury could make him an overslot second rounder. Not sure if they want to go that route with a 1B, though. Just a thought.

3/30 Game thread. Sox at Marlins 5:40 CDT
My wife just said Colson looks like John Olerud and now that’s all I can see.

Same Brewers' fan catches Mune #2, Colson GS
I know it’s not nice to judge, but those ballhawk guys strike me as being giant fucking losers.

It isn’t entirely luck. He’s given up a lot of hard contact. I still think he’s going to be awesome, though.

He’s a big time union guy. Jerry won’t want that influence on his young players.

It never is. But we unfortunately had a front row seat to what makes them so good. I just hope our guys were paying attention and learn something from it.

4 games. Yes he has to ask permission. Great stuff as usual, joejoe.

Peters, Pereira, and Sproat all were in the International League last year, so they presumably have a history of matchups. Not sure of the outcomes, however.

He’s in AAA, though only two games so far.

I think you’re both right.

Fire Chris Getz
The first part is what changed my opinion of Getz. He easily could have just mailed it in with infinite job security, but he actually had the stones to (1) completely overhaul the organization and (2) hire qualified people from other teams, even if they might one day be his replacement. I don’t know if he’s the guy to finish off the rebuild or not, but I respect him for doing those two things. The biggest downside to me is we are just catching up to where other orgs have been for a while. That’s on Jerry. In order to make up for that lag we need to spend. That’s also on Jerry. The guy is a cancer, and as the saying goes: f*** cancer. And in case you’re reading this tray, this is just my opinion.
