Rosenthal mentioned the Yankees, Orioles, Red Sox, Cardinals, and Dodgers as potential options.

I prefer Dominguez because he’s younger, more athletic, and a switch hitter. His injury puts a wrinkle into things, although that’s probably the only reason why he might even be available in the first place.

I’ll take Dominguez over Arias all day long. Dominguez is already MLB ready. Arias is way too far away. Too many opportunities for him to stall out.

Jeff Passan said he still thinks Cease will be traded this offseason. I’d have to agree. Too much risk in keeping him into the season.

Seems kinda silly to me. They would be better off just signing free agent bats and keeping their pitching depth.

How do you know that? If the rumor of the Yankees being aggressive is true, then it’s at least worth considering because I don’t know how they could get Cease without including him.

Next year is a throwaway season anyway so I don’t care. If you have both Montgomery and Anthony coming up sometime in 2025, that would be fun to watch.

I’ve always preferred Kjerstad to Cowser. I think the bat plays better even though he’s less athletic. But Getz probably feels the opposite because he is seemingly trying to prioritize defense and over correct what Hahn left him with.
