QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 10:01 PM) Players I would want in order: Puig, Upton, CarGo. Throwing a random question out there, if you go after Upton, why not try and get Ross in the package? I think I would give up some big prospects for that. And then a rotation of Sale, Samardzija, Quintana, Ross, and Rodon the rest of the way would be insane with Danks being pushed into long relief. I wouldn't mind Cashner either. Avi, Anderson, Montas, Danish, Adams, and someone else for Upton, Ross, and Cashner.

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 09:21 PM) Yup. Too many big hurts in the kitchen here How do you do that? I want to change mine too.

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 09:13 PM) Plus the prospects he's dealt lately have been worth a s***. Minus Gio a few years ago. Did you change your username? I associate your profile picture with a different username.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 09:11 PM) LaRoche is probably coming in tomorrow. That would be dumb as hell with the way this team is hitting. Don't fix what ain't broke.

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 08:51 PM) Give me Justin Upton, then extend him and Jeff in the off season This. Give them Adams, Danish, Trey M, etc and they'll take it.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 08:48 PM) Everyone's having a great time, and then there's LaRoche, crying in the background: He's sad that he's washed up and not a good player anymore.

Let Shark finish this.

That's what Betts gets for trying to showboat. An injured knee and a homerun. Haha.

Who comes in for Bonifacio next time he's up to hit? Shuck?

Maybe he'll have to go to the DL and we can call up Carroll as an extra reliever.

This lineup is so much better without LaRoche.

QUOTE (raBBit @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 01:32 PM) Don't mind them clearing their system for rentals. Exactly my thoughts.

GO SOX!!!

This is our year.

This has the atmosphere of a World Series game.

This has the atmosphere of a World Series game.

The Sox are going to sweep this series. I can feel it.

This has to be one of the biggest game threads in a long time.

STIR THE MUTHAFECKING DRINK.

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Jul 27, 2015 -> 06:18 PM) Meh, I'd much rather have our best hitter in the lineup. He has been struggling mightily though.

Abreu wasn't doing much of anything anyway. A DL stint might be for the best. I hope he's ok though.

Wooooooo.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 26, 2015 -> 11:15 PM) Pitchers you want to use Fangraphs for WAR You learn something new everyday. Thanks so much!

Where do you see the 4.4 WAR? According to Baseball Reference, he has a 3.3 WAR. Unless I'm missing something.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 24, 2015 -> 10:59 PM) Dan Hayes ‏@CSNHayes 2h2 hours ago Alexei Ramirez credited support of coaches for recent play. Said he and staff had a "friendly meeting" and it has helped. #WhiteSox They had a "friendly meeting" Yeah...right... Why couldn't they have one of these "friendly meetings" 2 months ago when they were still in contention? I don't buy that BS for a second.
