Remember when some guy on here threw a tantrum and announced that he was becoming a Padres fan when the Machado news broke? Good times.

But why exactly would he be fantastic in the clubhouse? Obviously he has an impressive list of accomplishments, but I'm not sure his personality would mesh well with the players.

Does AJ Hinch have a brother in law? If so can the Sox sign him to help with the recruiting efforts?

What about Cordero? He should make the team in my opinion, he is good if he’s not used and abused by Ricky.

The longer this drags on, the less likely I feel La Russa is going to be the one to get the job. I feel like he would’ve been hired already if he was the guy. I think the rumors surrounding him were just a way to get people more accepting of Hinch’s baggage. They’re probably just stalling until the World Series is over so they can officially “interview” Hinch and make him the manager.

I’m still annoyed about game 3 but realistically, how much farther would the Sox have gone had they won that game? I’m not sure if they would’ve beaten Houston.

They need to go big regardless of who is hired.

His best days are behind him and he's constantly injured now. No thanks.

His last tweet could easily refer to Hinch because there are a lot of Sox fans who will be angry if he is the pick.

That too. He made so many awful decisions during that series alone that I couldn’t even remember all of them off the top of my head...lol. Gio Gonzalez in the bottom of the 9th against Jordan Luplow ?

Why do people want Dave Roberts? If he couldn’t lead the stacked Dodgers teams over the past few years to a title, how is there any reason to believe that he could lead the Sox to a championship?

The series in Cleveland sealed the deal for me. I didn’t like Ricky all that much from a on-field standpoint even before then, but bringing in Ruiz and then Rodon in critical games was the final straw. It was some of the worst managing I have ever seen, it’s like he was trying to lose his job.

This makes me think the Sox are definitely going to bring in a manager who uses analytics, which is a good thing.

This is a dumb question but are rosters going back down to 25 next season or will they stay at 26? Trying to work on my offseason plan for the Sox.

I would love that. He’s coming off a rough season but I’d absolutely take him over Mazara. Give him a one year prove it deal and stick him in RF in 2021.
