How has the roster not been announced yet?

I’m nervous.

That’s how I read it as well but I’m not going to get my hopes up until the lineup is announced tomorrow and EE isn’t in it.

Why are we talking about game 3? Sox in 2 baby!!!

I’d rather have that matchup than having to face Cleveland. So at least we have that going for us.

Exactly. I would really like to see what Rodon could do in a clean inning. Hopefully he can pitch in one of the Cubs games.

I actually think Rodon could be a good reliever down the line. He got up to 97 MPH tonight. With his slider, that might work for an inning at a time. The problem is throwing him into the fire the way they did. Anyone that knows anything about baseball knew that was going to end terribly.

3 of these 4 games against Cleveland were winnable. Ricky blew all of them. Fire his incompetent ass.

So his first appearance in like two months will be in a playoff game? Doesn’t seem like the best strategy to me because he very well could be rusty.

Lopez and Cease have taken significant steps backwards under Cooper's tutelage. The same goes for Giolito. He literally went back to work with his high school pitcher coach to fix his issues instead of Coop.

I wholeheartedly agree with all of us. As it sits now, the Sox are still probably a year away from being a legit World Series contender. There have been a lot of good things to come out of this season but this is still a very young team. Hopefully the right pieces will be added this offseason to make this team more well rounded.

It seems to me like the Sox have been coasting and taking things for granted since last Thursday. I hope the ejections and the ending of last night’s game lit a fire under these guys.

I mean the Sox have been having a pretty bad meltdown since last Thursday when they clinched a playoff spot. lol

The Sox don’t even deserve to win the division the way they’ve been playing. At this point I just hope they don’t have to face Cleveland in the Wild Card round because that has disaster written all over it.

This is the most painful loss the Sox have had in years. It’s going to take a long time to get over it.
