I’m not thrilled with Blackmon at this point in his career but Marquez would be a huge get.

If they’re really that desperate to clear out salary they might. Getting out of Price’s contract would be huge for them, to the point where they might even be able to keep Betts.

Honestly, the Sox are probably best off just trading for Price and Benintendi right now, assuming they wouldn’t have to give up anything significant. And then maybe sign Keuchel. a rotation of Giolito/Price/Keuchel/Kopech/cease moving forward looks pretty good on paper, as does Benintendi in RF.

White Sox not mentioned here. Good. I’d much rather go after Ryu.

I think people are upset with the “no urgency” part of it. The Sox absolutely need to have a sense of urgency given how fast things are moving this offseason.

Snell isn’t as good as Sale was when the Sox traded him. So trading both Madrigal and Vaughn for him would be awful.

He tooted his own horn so to speak by saying that he knows more than everyone else here. That in itself is going to create a sense of curiosity and open up the floodgate for questions, so why even bother revealing that he has more info than everyone else here if he isn’t willing to elaborate on it?
