  1. could be nothing, could be something, never heard of this guy
  2. Technically first is possible for most, if not all position players. They said he still projects as an above-average regular, even at a corner, unless he moved to first.
  3. Fangraphs projects him as a third baseman, not first.
  4. I was also there and agree that it was very cool setting and event. My wife really enjoyed exploring the museum and exhibits in a non-crowded setting.
  5. I'll take this kind of deal all day compared to what they've given relief pitchers in the past.
  6. But the sickos like us that come here do
  7. Enough people have mentioned it since the selection was made.
  8. Tinfoil hat theory: They posted it because they were trying to embarass Haber and his computer on the way out.
  9. Posting those numbers was certainly a choice. Would've been better off posting what his favorite sandwich and movie is instead.
  10. From what's been reported so far they have eight signings per BA, with all but one (Curacao) being from Venezuela. The thinking is that they should have more sigings when they actually announce. Seems like they still have $ left as well.
  11. Bump. 25 days until we get ST snippets of Pedroball, culture, and some other nonsense.
  12. You could loosely count Tyler Matzek as well since he was a member of the org for a brief time (but didn't pitch).
  13. Got some newbies in the fold, with Sergio Santos returning to the org as the Barons manager.
  14. I always pass that location on my way into the city and seems very feasible that they could just construct another stop in the nothingness that lives there if they so chose to do so. Would LOVE this location.
  15. I don't think it'd be unreasonable to have him begin the year in Birmingham. There's no rush for him to come up, so let him go back to AA and progress before sending him to Charlotte.
  16. He was also a 20 year old in AA, playing against competition more than 3.5 years older that himself. The Angels did him no favors by rushing him to AA because that's what they do.
