  1. The Sox have been cursed well before SnR ever started
  2. Don't forget about KW either. He's the architect of this same old, stale bulls*** that we've had to witness the last 2 seasons and 1 month :puke
  3. 20 days till Detroit comes to town
  4. Pop music blows donkey dick :fyou Pop Music
  5. And we're not? We've lost 8 of our last 12. That's a slump.
  6. Only a f***ing idiot would put Harris in the 2 spot..... wait..... nevermind
  7. Oh his demise is as predictable as the royals demise. They both blow. I wouldn't go that far with it I would. Also, isnt this the first good team he has faced? Minnesota but that's debatable..... although the Twinkies are probably better than the Sox.
  8. Sure..... Jerry f***ing Manuel. Told you he'd find a way to f*** up and he did.
  9. WOW! That'd be a first. 3.5 games out with only 2 games left to play this week
  10. If Manuel lasts all season prepare for more .500 baseball at best.
  11. No..... so do I..... he is originally a 2B..... and me too
  12. You, like KW, are in the minority
  13. Eh . Harris' speed definitely begs for him to be in the top of the line-up though. It'll be interesting to see how JM f***s it up .
  14. Look who made the quote Chisoxfn..... BEANE!!!!! The same guy who has been fleecing KW's for 2 seasons now!!!!! Of course Beane thinks he's one of the, "brightest minds in the game"..... because Beane is brighter and usually on the + side of all the Sox/A's trades .
  15. Where's the buffet tables when you need them ?
  16. Gordon came up huge tonight..... no doubt. 4 K's, a few IF pop-ups, 2 2/3 innings..... he had the A's hitters looking fastball and he'd go with his offspeed and vice versa. Gordon used all of his pitches effectively and, THIS IS HUGE FOR A GUY LIKE GORDON, was throwing first-pitch strikes.
  17. As stands right now, Olivo usually catches 3 (Loaiza, Stewart, and Garland) of our starters anyway. Alomar has been huge in teaching Miguel how to call a game from behind the plate through one month of the season..... that's according to Farmio and Rooney during tonight's "White Sox Winner." MB and BC have stated that they prefer having Alomar calling their game for them, so I don't see the battery tandems changing anytime soon. For Alomar and Olivo, this is a win-win situation. Olivo gets the majority of playing time..... and will only get better with experience. He has an unparalleled arm for a youngster behind the plate and unnatural speed for a catcher. Alomar catches MB and BC and, in doing so, gets to rest those troublesome knees while teaching the future Sox backstop what he knows to become one of the elite C's in the game. In reference to Alomar's pop however greg775, I do think Manuel should pinch-hit more often for Alomar late in the game with the White Sox either up big or down by a run or two. JM not PH'ing at the proper times is yet ANOTHER fault I constantly see with him.
  18. I would have made the same move..... especially with a guy coming to the plate that had hit 2 HR's in 2 nights. And in response to Bobby V's analysis..... "Billy didn't have it tonight"..... or something to that effect..... has Billy had it at all with the game on the line in 2003..... exception being Detroit? I think not.

    we won!

Hate to say I told you so..... but I know HSC and Baggs weren't thrilled by this trade either. If this was 2002, Botch wouldn't see the closers role until about August with JM at the helm after blowing one or two games.

    we won!

First good move JM has made since getting his dumbass ejected in the 1st inning of Sunday's game.
  21. Those numbers are Ritchie-esque
  22. and didnt the savior prior hit a batter or two today??? i thought i heard that somewhere........ Bonds was one of them..... AGAIN..... and the dugouts cleared afterwards..... but no fight. Dusty has made ShamME fair game now

    we won!

Doesn't sound like he ever was if you talk to a die-hard A's fan.
