This guy should only parody a song he's capable of playing correctly

I'm a fan of Metallica, but I cannot disagree with Lars here more. I think 50-70 thousand Metallica fans in Chicago would disagree with Lars also given the "reception" Durst and Co. got in Chicago
  3. When have you known anything in this Organization to make perfect sense ?

Good call. I do find it slightly suspicious though that Cotts and Adkins are the players called-up..... what with KW getting s*** from White Sox fans about Foulke/MJ/Valentine for Botch/Cotts and Adkins for Durham. Just saying it raises my eyebrows that the guys that are getting called-up are guys that KW traded for. Could Cotts' call-up be more about KW making good on the Botch trade more than Cotts actually being ready for the ML's? Something to think about. We have no adequate 5th starter potential in AAA?

We don't need Miles to be called up with R Alomar, Graffenino, and Harris all capable of playing 2B. Sorry Michelle
  6. Very true. But thank God JM gave Cotts the hook at the appropriate time considering JM usually make the move sometimes too early but usually too late. And comparing Cotts to Glavine is, once again, putting some lofty expectations on a kid who jumped from AA staright to the ML's.
  7. Gimme a break. If you really believe this, you're going to be very disappointed when '04 rolls around and Colon or Loaiza, Everett, R. Alomar, Valentin, and maybe a few others aren't resigned by the CEO. Of course, a deep playoff run or a WS appearance could change JR's thinking .
  8. He didn't have the opportunity to. He walked everybody
  9. The one thing good to take from that Game 1 loss in Anaheim was we lit up a BP with a few pitchers with ERA's under 1.00..... in mid-August!
  10. Do you still have the article? If it's not too long, would you be so kind as to type it out? I never read it
  11. And wasn't that the year we SWEPT the sCrUBS?
  12. Probably just a combination of elbow problems and sucktitude. And no..... and no
  13. Good analysis ( ) but a walk is a walk..... whether you walk him after being 3-2 or starting him off 0-2. And, when the dust on last nights start for Cotts settled, was anyone here really surprised that Cotts walked so many and struggled in only 2 1/3rd's? We knew Cotts walked alot of batters in AA so why would anyone think that the BB's would suddenly change now that he is in the ML's? Did anyone here really buy some of the posters argument that..... 'he won't struggle, he's awesome!' Reading the Cotts prediction thread, I think alot of posters here put some really unrealistic expectations on Neal. Having said that, DW still isn't who I want in the 5th starter spot but he showed how valuable he could be coming in from the BP.
  14. We need to win this game tonight. KC and Minnesota both won and we have an unproven AA pitcher starting for us tomorrow. :fyou Cleveland :fyou Yankees

And everyone was worried that the classiness of the tailgate would be gone if me, you, and Guido showed up to party Maury
  16. Not at all. But it looks as if Salmon will be in the line-up for Cotts. The injury must have been a one day thing
  17. CubKilla replied to Steff's topic in SLaM
    Maury's worse. He's Irish

And not a good one from everything I'm hearing

7-0 is a bit optimistic. I'd be quite happy with 5-2. I thought we were done making highly unlikely predictions when the White Sox play teams that, on paper, they should defeat
  20. Richard Daley is a f***ing asshole who is more concerned with parks and flowers than he is about his city workers and the White Sox for that matter. :fyou Daley And while I'm at it..... :fyou Blagojevich
  21. In AA. Let's see how he fares against a ML team without three of it's big hitters. Damn.....
  22. What are Cotts' numbers in the ML's? Oh yeah..... ZEROS across the board . He's too good for AA would be a better way of phrasing that.

You gotta be "the guy a buncha teens speed by, flip off and yell 'pig' too everyday" before you can be undercover, a narc, or homicide detective Roman.

Badass cops do more desk riding than cruiser riding. And don't say that to a background investigator. I guarantee that, if you do, you will never be a cop. Ever.

I'm fine, Steff. Didn't say anything bad. My car seats are just fine. I think steff was hinting for you to stay away from Heather...........and not a bad idea at that. :fyou :finger :finger Don't even try to out-cuss me, you'll never win!!! Try me......... :dips*** I don't think you want that. Those here who have met me know how vulgar I can get. Ask Mrs. Buehrle
