Mind boggling to me how this is how the FO thinks will put them over the top. The bullpen is not why we got absolutely embarrassed in the playoffs. Overpaid C tier free agents arent going to overcome the better teams in the AL. This offseason so far is beyond disappointing. Other AL teams are getting better, you can argue we are worse. Time is ticking Hahn, you get way too much praise for the mediocre job you have done in the FA market.

This is a great post and sums up my thoughts on Sheets. With how often our guys get hurt I like keeping Sheets on the roster this year and seeing if there is something to his offensive game thats worth a longer look. His approach at the plate was definitely not like Palka's, and he can provide a much needed lift to the left side of the batters box. Anyone who watched his atbats last season was impressed.

Fans turned a blind eye to Chapman, Osuna, Puig, and countless others, they will do the same with Bauer. I haven't followed the case much but i dont think it could be any worse than what Osuna did. The fact he got away with that is still mind boggling to me.

Its hilarious to me that Ortiz claims he wasnt juicing. On the Twins he had an 800 OPS then goes to the loaded and juiced red sox in 2003 and starts mashing. Look at that 2003 red sox lineup and tell me with a straight face that Manny was the only roider. Look at the jumps in slugging from some of those guys.
