  1. Most Sox fans this season are the guy in the CAT cap @1:14
  2. And they still are awful at scoring runs.
  3. And they must like both Country....and Western Music.
  4. No we are not looking for 2 way players....
  5. Our current 1B could be a DH Our now injured starting Catcher is a DH Our current 3B is a DH Our current LF is a DH Our injured starting LF in Charlotte is a DH Whoever plays in RF is usually a DH And then there's Vaughn
  6. Do you concur with the OP that they should "Strive mightily to win"?
  7. Yep, apathetic seems to be the more common sentiment and that is where I am as well. But there's usually a layer of anger in there too. I think a lot of Sox fans were really looking forward to a great summer of baseball and then we got whatever this is.
  8. They could add that as a feature of next year's South Side Irish Parade....it's been a bit dull since they cut back on the drinking.
  9. And damn I thought Pollock had turned a corner, but he looks as bad as he did earlier in the season. The guy is an automatic out. He only seemed to hit well when he was at the top of the lineup.
  10. Could not agree with you more.
  11. He hit 2 balls hard last night and he is up for his offense so I think he stays.
  12. Your post has twice as many emojis so you win the popular vote....unfortunately I still take the electoral college. Sorry, but elections have consequences.
  13. What are you, some kinda Asia expert??
  14. The 2 emotions that I have been getting from Sox fans around the family and the city are Apathy and Anger. Way to piss off your fans and/or make it that they just don't give a shit. Nice job taking the patience shown by the fandom during the rebuild and flushing it down the toilet. I, for one, was pissed at that bullshit tweet by Stone the other day. He certainly seems to be a mouthpiece of the organization and that clearly showed me that this organization doesn't understand that fans are justifiably pissed off or even worse are starting to tune out. I am sort of at peace with the fact that they are not going to fire LaRussa midseason. I just hope he walks away at the end of this season one way or another because this just seems to be a lost season.
  15. Yes, but get the low sodium version. Need to cut down on the salt intake.
  16. Damn I thought Sheets even looked shaky on the more routine fly ball earlier in that inning. He looked better at the plate yesterday though, He just is not an OF. Goes to the thought earlier in this thread about the team that has been put together.
  17. Maybe they should send down Sosa before Menechino screws up his entire future. I don't believe he was a ground ball machine in AA.
  18. Sheets looked better at the plate tonight but his D gave away 2 runs. If you can't make that play, you shouldn't be out there. The Robert play was obviously much harder but boy did it look ugly in slow motion as he alligator armed it.
  19. I'm not sure any are available. The White Sox have been looking for a RF for 5 years.
