  1. After Ishbia spoke, it's pretty clear that he's getting a new stadium built. Shouldn't that all but solidify the Sox are inevitably moving away from 35th and shields? The ISFA owns Rate Field, which means Ishbia can't just tear the thing down and build new. Unless He purchases it from ISFA I guess and then proceeds to demolish Rate Field and build new, but that all sounds a lot more expensive than just building on empty land somewhere like the 78.
  2. But why would Jerry want to go out like that? To get every last cent that he possibly can? Idk, just seems off to me.
  3. If they would just win consistently they wouldn't be bottom 5 in attendance consistently. Fans show up when the team is good, which unfortunately is not often and when it is good, it's not for long. If the team would just commit to winning consistently and for longer periods of time, we wouldn't have these attendance conversations nearly as much as we do. Honestly, I like it that fans don't show up when the team sucks. Bad entertainment doesn't deserve paying customers.
  4. Wow. The bears have not played well but their luck late in games definitely seems to be on their side this year.
  5. He gets rid of the ball too quickly though. There have been times where he escapes and then has time to reset, plant and throw but he like panics and just gets rid of it as soon as he escapes. Sometimes it's warranted but other times he has open receivers he can hit.
  6. Can't wait to have Schwarber, Ohtani, Harper, big dumper on the Sox when they are all 45 years old.
  7. It's not an issue with the current state of the org so it's whatever, but damn I wish health wasn't a problem for Luis. I love watching him cover centerfield.
  8. It seems like he either doesn't see or just decides not to throw to the guys that are wide open, alot.
  9. This series is exactly what baseball needs
  10. Idk, watching Perez he kinda scares me. Soft tossing lefty, aging, he's bound at some point to just get hammered for like 4 straight starts and then will be fodder for the dfa
