Whatever call they make, this is looking like a 1-game series and doubleheaders in late May and late August.

I was told there'll be a call by 6 AM.

So I'm assuming they're still planning on playing today then?

As of now, they plan to play as scheduled.

The forecasts I've seen, there is a possible window to start the game on time, but they could end up playing in a light rain. Not fun.

There does not appear to be a window of dry at all today

Well, this should be interesting. My worst nightmare would be to get all the way down there just to have them move it to tomorrow.

Considering how much lead time they had, it should have been moved to Tuesday regardless. This will be another Sox fail.

Well I'm sure a lot of people can't get Tueday off, at least I know my entire group can't. So for us, any chance of getting this game in today is preferred, even if it results in a last-minute postponement.

Kinda bummed. I have zero confidence they get more than an inning in.

Too bad they're going to have to close the dome...

... :bang

Every new mid-west stadium should have a retractable roof honestly.

Same. If the game gets canceled oh well. I want to tailgate and have fun with my friends, something that wouldn't have happened tomorrow.

the bottom 4 in the lineup is probably the worst in the majors

oh my goodness nevermind. I just looked at the padres lineup.

This is a poor weather week to start the year.

Mikie Mahtook® RF

James McCann® C

JaCoby Jones® CF

Jose Iglesias® SS

Every time this year someone says, "the White Sox _____ is the worst in the MLB", just mention the Padres and they'll take it back.

Lineup is out:

1. Tyler Saladino ® 2B

2. Tim Anderson ® SS

3. Melky Cabrera (S) LF

4. Jose Abreu ® 1B

5. Todd Frazier ® 3B

6. Cody Asche (L) DH

7. Avisail Garcia ® RF

8. Omar Narvaez (L) C

9. Jacob May (S) CF

The Twins lineup is dreadful as well.

Alright, I've passed wanting to see game canceled. Grabbed cheap stadium club passes last week and glad I did. Nice refuge for my wife and kid if its unbearable.

All is good in the AL Central. We are tied for first place. Let's strive mightily to win

Opening day/home opener is always fun (except for 2015). If you can get off work you should do it.

Me and a few guys from the office are thinking about leaving early. Depends on if they are dicks and make me put in PTO for it. I'd rather just leave here at 2:00, take the train to get there like 30 mins before the game and just stay late/come in early rest of the week.
