I thought someone above said the tarp came off?

It was a tease.

Worst thing about opening at home is no Gene Honda, dude is the best, just isn't the same without him.

I wonder why he isn't there.

I think they're just doing as much of the OD stuff as possible, and the game being played is probably not happening. The people in the park will get a freebie of some sort and sent on their way home.

I would think the sox would try to not piss off what little fans that actually won't to spend money on tickets this year.

Any updates?

NCAA tournament. He's the man

He calls the Final Four every year.

Tarp now covering the infield fully. Could've been in the 3rd inning by now. Barely any rain in the last hour. Epic fail by this organization. Not surprising though

I wonder why he isn't there.

He does the Final Four every year because he's f***ing awesome.

Nevermind it was just for the first pitch.

Retarded, part 3.

Daryl Van Schouwen‏ @CST_soxvan

The tarp was pulled off just far enough to let Scott Podsednik throw out first pitch. Then pulled back over the entire infield

The way I'm seeing it, the longer the delay the better. I get home from the city at around 5:30. The longer the delay=longer I'll be able to watch.

Same.

Rick Renteria comes off as exceedingly competent.

Good way to piss off your biggest crowd of the season

The lack of communication is just kind of baffling. I've been trying to figure out if I can go do some chores around the house but they've been acting like the game is about to start...but then not starting it....

Well, this season is off to a rip-roaring start

Same.

But it doesn't seem like we'll see any of it today.

I'll admit I was wrong if it happens, but I bet Quintana has known for at least an hour he's pitching tomorrow.

As I sit here with my dumbass poncho waiting for baseball to be played, I'm trying to imagine a worse way the Sox could've handled this. I'm coming up blank. Still forecast to be relatively clear tomorrow. As someone coming from out of town every year for OD, this is really frustrating.

He is a master of saying Ventura's leadership was bad last year without saying it out loud

LOL

Jesus, Moncada will be up before this game starts

Centerfield video board now says they're holding off on warming up starting pitchers and they'll update as they get information.

White Sox Baseball: we're all out.

Even when the tarp comes off, fans would probably have to wait another 30 minutes at least.

The lack of professionalism is seriously stunning, we've always been better than this.
