it's a thing of beauty, especially considering his defense is suddenly passable.

The fact Avi nodded to the poster on here last night makes him one of my faves. Avi Garcia deserves credit no matter what happens the rest of the season. He's already had seven good weeks. People should be on the Avi bandwagon. If one of our young prospects was doing this, people would be having fits of joy.

He's one of our best players so do you trade him? We traded Sale. We're gonna trade Q. He is our every day player version of those guys.

 

You can't even think about it unless he does this for two more months and someone offers a Top 25 MLB prospect or a struggling stud like Rougned Odor with longer team control.

 

Also depends on how the White Sox feel about competing in 2019, and if they want to move him to 1b/DH and give him a contract extension.

Nah. I think he's an infielder at 2B or 3b. He could go to a corner of position but why. I still think he needs to be prepared for 3b. Yolmers production compared to other 2B is starter level.

Ah I didn't know that. Keep him at 2B then. He's a future star. You want to make him as comfortable as you can. That's why I hate when the Cubs move Bryant from 3B.

Going off of my limited tape viewing he seems to be a better fit for the infield. But I'm no expert. Of course Robert is the cf of the future and avi hopefully figured it out for one corner.

He's a great clubhouse guy and all but he's not gonna be here when we make our comeback. So yeah. Deal him if you can. And that goes for anyone that won't be here in two years.

One thing you can never criticize about Avi is effort. He's always busted his ass.

Everything in me still says don't buy into Avi.....but it's hard not to.

I don't know what the writers and broadcasters think of Avi the person, but I'm assuming he's a prince of a person if he nodded at the Soxtalk poster last night at the game.

Also, just watching these games on mlb.com he's always hustled his ass off and has always seemed like he's cared even when butchering balls in right field.

 

What I'm trying to say is ... buy into Avi. If he turns back into Beckham the rest of the season, he'll be gone forever. So root for this man now. It was his last chance this season and he's already earned his paltry little salary. BELIEVE IN AVI. He appears to be a guy worthy of rooting for! Avi baby!

I know first hand he's a hard worker. I was on here talking about jos rehab and how much he attacked it. I just hope he figured out how to hit. He was a guesser before.
