Not surprising. Just that so many of them were hyped as being "sure things" that their organizations would never dream of trading. The pendulum swung too far the other way in the last couple of years.

They were probably overvalued, and that might turn out to be a mistake for some of the teams that could have used a huge upgrade for their rotation like Jose Quintana.

That's all.

My point is it's way too early to jump to any conclusions. Some of these guys may have been overvalued, but there's no way we can say that right now.

Saladino's swing is so messed up.

I really think Frazier is going to heat up here in the near future.

Covey wasn't moving his right arm at all..

Well, hey. That happened

So if Covey is out for an extended period of time, who are we gonna see fill in his spot? Volstad?

Good. Raise that trade value!

Threw a breaking ball (hung it) to Goldschmidt. He fouled it straight back, then backed off the mound and the trainers came. Wasn't sure if it was his arm or hamstring but he didn't move his right arm when he walked off.

Put him on the DL and spare us all. When is Lopez service time date? Sometime early June?

Willy Garcia 43 PA, 4 BB.

Tim Anderson 159 PA, 4 BB.

And Willy has been robbed of a couple walks already with bad calls.

Ricky and his bunting. :(

Ricky loves bunting. Might be my biggest pet peeve with him as a manager.

Pathetic...nothing like playing for a run in this ballpark

Why are we bunting with two strikes

The good old 2 strike bunt. Thanks, Rick.

There goes good ol' Kevan Smith. How I hate him.

No reason to bunt in a ballpark like this. Renteria is losing favor in my book.

Coooooooooool

Not sure we'll pull this one off.

Left oblique injury for Covey per Pleskoff.

Anderson just has find some patience... its the same thing that always dooms Avi in the end.

The percentages are not in your favor in the major league if you are going to go up their swinging at every pitch.

I don't know why anyone throws him a strike
