Not surprising. Just that so many of them were hyped as being "sure things" that their organizations would never dream of trading. The pendulum swung too far the other way in the last couple of years.

 

They were probably overvalued, and that might turn out to be a mistake for some of the teams that could have used a huge upgrade for their rotation like Jose Quintana.

My point is it's way too early to jump to any conclusions. Some of these guys may have been overvalued, but there's no way we can say that right now.

Threw a breaking ball (hung it) to Goldschmidt. He fouled it straight back, then backed off the mound and the trainers came. Wasn't sure if it was his arm or hamstring but he didn't move his right arm when he walked off.
