Feel for the guy.

Romine gets mad in a 9-1 game. Be a better actor than that, d-bag.

Sox are about to go to a season worst six under if I remember correctly.

Yes. 24-30 at the 1/3 mark. On pace for 90 losses.

No scoring in the 9th would put the run differential at 0. 244-244.

Has anyone announced yet that Brad Goldberg has been called up?

No because he might go right down again after this debacle

A bunch of dogcrap pitchers being run out there I understand.

But some of the lack of discipline from so many of our hitters is infuriating.

So you can pretty much leave White Sox games after the 6th inning. If they are leading, they are 19-0, if they are tied or losing, 5-30.

Goldberg's ERA will improve next week.

Just cause I like to try and use stats for my statements, the Sox have not been better than 14th in team ERA since 2009.

The Sox pitchers collectively rank 3rd in fWAR since the start of 2009. Pitching in an offensive friendly ball park in front of bad defenses is going to skew their ERA pretty significantly. http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=...=&players=0

I don't have the data in front of me to support this, but I'm almost positive the Sox have also been the healthiest pitching staff in baseball over that time span as well. Coop isn't perfect, but I don't know who the Sox could bring in that would be a clear upgrade over him.

They were +28 four games ago.

Sox bullpen has been miserable since the 05 title basically. Use of bullpens has risen dramatically since then and Sox bullpen has been pathetic for the most part. Actually ever since that ESPN announcer I forget who it is, said we had the best bullpen in baseball. Our closers have been above average; everybody else has reeked since 05.
