Looking at the Sox T10 picks, I see one over-slot guy, but a good 5 under slot guys, including a couple cheap senior signs. My guess is we'll see the Sox take at least one or maybe two over-slot guys in the 11-17 range who need more than 100k to sign. Guys they've done that with before include Adam Engel, Jacob May and more recently Ian Hamilton.

BA's best available top 10.

#38 Tanner Burns - RHP (Decatur, H.S )

#39 Brady McConnell - SS (Merritt Island, H.S.)

#41 Tristan Beck - RHP (Stanford) *mentioned him since day 2. Shocked he's still on the board. That back injury must be serious*

#62 Garrett Mitchell - OF (Orange Lutheran, H.S.)

#69 Jake Eder - LHP (Calvary Christian Academy, Fort Lauderdale) *really like the scouting report on this kid, but he'll be a very tough signing*

#73 Bryce Bonnin - RHP (Barber's Hill, H.S.)

#75 Greg Jones - SS (Cary, H.S.)

#76 Chris McMahon - RHP (West Chester, H.S.)

#82 Daniel Cabrera - OF (Parkview Baptist, H.S.)

#87 Blaine Knight - RHP (Arkansas) *ranked one spot after Luis Gonzalez

And there's guys like Mace, Hurt, Drohan, Van Eyk, Campbell, Williams, etc. (Burns, Eder, McConnell, Mace, Schwarz are considered tough signings however)

I will not be really paying attention today but would like to see a pick for the ACE alumn at Vanderbilt at some point.

Ace,

Are these guys , for the most part anyways, players that have signaled they aren't interested in signing?

Burns for sure is going to Auburn.https://mobile.twitter.com/TannerBurnsAU/st...727362742583296

McConnell and Mace are very unlikely according to Cahill from BA

No idea about the other high school prospects on the list.

And yea.. saw Beck has a stress fracture in his back. No wonder he's still on the board.

Bryce Montes de Oca is still on the board. Sox drafted him out of high school as their backup plan to Rodon. They've been keeping an eye on him, that I know. Might they draft him again? He is eligible. Had TJS, high risk profile, but lots of ceiling.

Danny Mendick, who is getting pub on Cistulli's fringe 5, was in rounds 20-22, forget which one.

Otherwise known as Dickman.

Yes, when he was Dickman, he only had one "tool." Now as Mendick, with multiple "tools," he is a legit prospect.

Beck is going back to school.

Kincannon

Into round 12 just like that. Our pick should be up again within a few minutes.

Gotta love a fast pace draft.

Mace off the board to Cleveland.

12 357 -- Yurchak, Justin SUNY - Binghampton 3B L/R JR -- 6'1" 204lbs DOB: 09/17/96 CWS

13 picks- 6 lefty bats

13 387 -- Blackman, Tate Ole Miss 2B R/R JR -- 6'0" 185lbs DOB: 09/07/94

Whitesox pick

Surprised by the lack of high schoolers overall. Thought they had stated a desire to take many. Smokescreen?

Justin Yurchak, who the Sox took in round 12, walked 41 times to only 12 k's in 192 PA's at SUNY Binghamton. And yes, he does hit lefty.

Garrett Mitchell to the A's.

14 417 -- Destino, Alex South Carolina OF L/L JR -- 6'2" 215lbs DOB: 10/24/95
