Shields had a good first few innings and can't even get an out in the 5th....fire someone involved with the trade

I agree. He's undeniably awful.

Listen baseball takes as long as it takes

The umps are to blame IMO. They won't call a strike a strike. They won't enforce the rules. They don't care. They just want their checks.

Goldberg has got some over powering stuff; I hope he'll be able to harness it at this level. the movement on his fastball and his change are nasty.

The first day since Moncada's been up where I thought, "eh, I don't need to pull my hair out watching his every AB, I'll just check the highlights later". And this happens.

A few more AB's like Hanson's and the Sox might just win this game........

Ugh Anderson.

His swing just sucks. Doesn't help he's so far off the plate. Still waiting for any single adjustment from him.

How can 9 innings take this long to play?? Horrific pace.

And Moncada strikes out.

Don't care if he strikes out, but the called 3rd strikes are painful. I'm sure Grudz worked long and hard with him on it :)

This new look White Sox team will be good for about one win a week and that's really it. I wouldn't be surprised if the Sox win 12-15 games the rest of the year, maybe less than that.

Did anybody see that kid just get nailed in the face? For MLb.tv people, Bot 9, 2 out, 3-1 pitch. I hope he's ok. It's funny as hell how the ball bounced 50 feet off his face back into the outfield and just leveled him.

who can the sox target top 3? that's the new hotness.

Singer, Turang and Kelenic. My favorite outside those 3 is the Mo St SS (Eierman). In the games I saw, he was significantly better than Burger.

Damn, I just saw the video of that kid getting smacked in the face, hope he's ok cause that looked bad.
