September 30, 20187 yr Cubs limping into playoffs , without murph and hamels they'd be out of it. Brewers should smoke them tomorrow , they're struggling against the bad teams including the Cardinals with half the team shutdown and not playing

October 3, 20187 yr Vibe around the team is that Russell has played his final team with the Cubs. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2018/10/addison-russell-domestic-abuse-allegations-cubs.html Add them to the list of teams that should have interest in Machado, assuming Russell is dfa'd or traded for nothing. October 3, 20187 yr Author I think the post mordum looks like this for the Cubs. They scored 1 or less runs 40 times this year, including the wild card game, yet were 9th in all of baseball with 761 runs scored. They have got to figure out a way to reduce their offense's standard deviation.

Completely blow teams out or scores 0-2 runs. Not much of a grey area. Edited October 3, 20187 yr by soxfan2014

October 3, 20187 yr Being in the hospital I just found out the Cubs lost a few minutes ago. That makes my day. I'm sure there are more than a few "unbiased" media members walking around town today with black arm-bands! Thank you Colorado Rockies.

October 3, 20187 yr I'm honestly surprised that there isn't some sort of rule against having the ivy in the field of play where it can obscure the ball like it does. I'm also surprised they aren't made to have any sort of padding on the brick wall.
