I read teh FS writeup on the first week last night, some really strong pitching performances all up and down the minors. Good sign early.

Absolutely. Very encouraging to see.

Lettsss gooo hit a granny Matty D!!!!!

Edited by Scoots

I swear to f***ing god everytime this team loads the bases it's like all the pressure is on the batter. It should be the other way man.

Davidson just got really lucky. Make them pay.

Avisail is a mess right now...or...he is the hitter he has been every year not named 2017.

Giolito tomorrow night. See ya then!

of course. swing through meatballs and eventually the pitcher will make a good pitch with 2 strikes. I was in that position way too many times in my playing career. it's why it ended in DIII.

Chokers....team can't hit offspeed pitches

Borderline call goes against Davidson. But if he establishes the reputation of a good eye he will get that benefit of the doubt.

Too close to take though

welp,more of the same.

What's the team record for runners LOB? This is ridiculous.

It's a head game right now. And the Sox are losing at it.

Sorry dude, pitch was right down the middle. Started outside, ended up right down the pipe.

It's a talent game. This team has zero pressure to do anything.

Before today we were hitting a whopping .179 with RISP, 17 for 95 good for 28th in the league

TA has been about the only good thing about this season.

This team is a real tough watch currently.

Hope you were watching..

lol...yes and almost choked on my water too yelling "hallelujah" at the same time.

All of a sudden, Shields has a Reynaldo Lopez looking pitching line.

Lopez WHIP is 0.85 for the season Shields for this game is 1.95

At the time I posted, fewer innings obviously but 2 hits, no runs, 5 BB and 5 K all matched.

The amount of walks White Sox pitchers allow is alarming.

Didn't Shields have 1 k in 11 innings coming in? Tampa is really an awful team.

More 2 strike, 2 out damage....that's new

With the way the Sox are hitting currently, falling behind at any point seems insurmountable.

It's a pretty good International League lineup + Kiermaier

It's funny that the offense has legit the complete opposite trend. This has been one of the worst homestand's I've ever seen.
