Orioles picked Knight

I feel like Blaine Knight was someone here had mentioned.

Kloffenstein to Toronto.

I'm writing off any high schooler. Maybe a blaze alexander or someone in round 4. But I doubt it.

Isn't Gage Canning someone that someone on Twitter had said he was going to be SHOCKED if the White Sox didn't draft him?

I don't remember that. There was a very certain tweet on Wolf to the sox though.

Oh you're right, it was Wolf. But I do also remember someone mentioning Gage Canning a while ago, but maybe as just a wishlist.

Love the pick, high floor lefty with age and some projection on his side

At this point, probably none until after round 10.

I don't think this will happen, but if we were to draft Heimlich, would you continue to be a White Sox fan? I honestly can't say that I would.

I had seen the Cubs linked heavily to Canning

So If I understand this correctly we just drafted a velociraptor in disguise?

Definitely. At the least, I would just root against the player.

Wouldnt bother me at all. But its not going to happen, so no point in discussing.

I am going to say there is a 0% chance he gets drafted by any team.

You would have no issue with the team drafting a guy who plead guilty to sexual assault of a young child?

Passan and Rosenthal think he gets drafted today

And I was going to guess Pilkington earlier, but got distracted.

Every indication is that he does get drafted by someone this year.

When they traded for Brett Myers, wife beater, I was sickened and hoped he failed every time he went to the mound. If they drafted this guy, I would feel sorry for the affiliate they sent him to, and would hope he would quickly fail.

It doesn't have to be a team of choirboys but you have to draw the line somewhere. And this guy, for me, is on the wrong side of the line.

Given the facts of the situation, yes.

Im not going to rehash the arguments. There are pages worth, my personal opinion is that he is innocent and took a deal because that was the best option given to him as a 15 year old.

Man, that's gonna be a hard sell to a fan base.

I think rooting against the player is fine, I do it all the time, but I can't imagine adding ANY player would ever make me give up being a fan of the team. That's far too dramatic, IMO.
