June 8, 20187 yr http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?cid=&lid=&org=145&sc=&sid=milb&t=affiliate&ymd=20180608 Kopech pitches tonight.
June 8, 20187 yr No Eloy again. Based on the way our prospects have gotten hurt, I'll just assume some horrible, rare injury

June 9, 20187 yr Best and worst of Kopech tonight. 9k thru 5 but really bad control. Nice rebound from last game at least.

He could be working on his changeup or something. You just never know with minor league pitching. Edited June 9, 20187 yr by Chicago White Sox

Lots of mention of fastball/curveball usage on twitter. Sounds like command got better as game went on, but it was awful early.
June 9, 20187 yr Bummer with a perfect inning of relief including three swinging K’s. Kopech with a nice start despite the five walks.
June 9, 20187 yr Robert 2-3 with 2 R’s and 2 RBI. Rivera is 2-2 again today and is now at .350! Collins is 2-4 with a HR. Kopech finished with 5 walks & 10 K’s. Any chance the Sox start him in the pen, ala Sale? Edited June 9, 20187 yr by soxfan49

June 9, 20187 yr Author Eloy had an ab in the 10th and drew a walk to help Birmingham get three runs in the tenth.
June 9, 20187 yr Robert will be fine in the SALLY League...where to watch the K’s will eventually be Winston-Salem, AFL and Birmingham. With so much rust due to inactivity over the last 2 years (immigration process, lots of BP/camp showcases but not much live pitching, just brief stay in the DSL in 2017) it’s going to take until he gets a full season in 2019 to see what we really have.

Check out his splits, that last month is playable. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/split.fcgi?id=engelad01&year=2018&t=b
