  • Are you seriously repeating what was said a few pages ago?

  • My source told me Thome showed him around. Then they went to White Castle, and  Harper said if Thome could down an entire crave case, he would sign with the Sox as long as each team employee took a bi

The big contracts rarely are but if you want to play with the big dogs you need to pay.

I think it is Andrew Freidman who said, if you are rational about free agents, you will never sign one.

Well, my question was whether, or not, you gentlemen think that those numbers are a reasonable expectation.

Yep, a few days before it was announced as well.

agreed, but that's also why I said on the field he's not worth it.  Off the field, I totally get the need for him.

It depends. This isn’t a typical free agent. He is 8 months older than Tim Anderson. There is a decent chance he hasn’t peaked yet.

okay what going on here?

You are sending me mixed messages not Hahn.

But the other twitter dude had a sick Photoshop

I was going to say something very similar. He's still very young and has a ton of potential.. maybe not defensively.. but I don't think anyone would be shocked if he turned into the top bat in whatever league he ends up signing in.

In the responses the account said it was heard on mlb network. Who knows.

Well, at least one of them is a liar. Probably both of them. This is just nuts.

Same thing that happens every offseason

Can we just stop sending every rando who claims to know what they're talking about?

I'm doubtful about all of them, but at least Reporter Liam and NYSportscast have nominal ties to sports journalism, even if somewhat weak. That guy Luke saying Harper to the Dodgers has connections to a website that sells athletic shoes and stuff. Definitely don't believe that one.

Well that guy did have Ohtani, so that at least gives it a .1% chance of being legit.

If any of these tweets were true, the main  guys  would know by now because the teams that were out would let them know.

My personal opinion is anything between 350 and 400 is acceptable. North of 400 starts to become a "is he worth it" discussion.

Plus he didn't say what I want to hear.  So he is clearly not credible.

I love that "Luke" guy flexing his confidence in his sources.

Liam doing the same thing... "don't sleep on my sources".

These guys are crazy.

Not trusting anything a dude with that type of photoshop skills says ??
