KW wanted to bring Thome back while Ozzie wanted the team to be more athletic which lead to Mark Kotsay, Andruw Jones who actually had a good year, and Omar fucking Vizquel getting ABs as the DH.

Anyways I remember Guillen being his usual asshole self and going out of his way to make the situation worse. I'm more surprised Lawrie isn't on the list. The guy faked an injury to quit baseball. Oh and Squires had 6 career home runs in 10 seasons as our everyday 1B.

Instead we got to watch him pitch the better half of a decade for the Yankees and get inducted into the HOF a Yankee.

Peavy was a bulldog who tried harder than everyone else. If you don't believe me, just ask him, he loved to talk abou it. Yet when he tried harder and harder, he kept pitching worse and worse when it mattered.
