Lopez vs Junis

Castillo bats 7th, Anderson 8th. Other than that, same as Thursday.

Hahn on the Score at 10:30 if you need more of that.

  • People complaining about the team aren't necessarily "miserable". It doesn't take much to make a post chastising a player for messing up. Doesn't mean watching the game pains them. Fans still want to

Might be time to end the Jones experiment. His body failed him his entire career,  and I think there has just been too much damage for him to be what he once was.

Heard it snowed in kc...

Rain is supposed to move out by 2 with highs of 44 or so with a lot of wind.

Ok thanks

Hopefully Lopez has a big year as far as the rebuild.  I think Rodon is a solid #2 starter and it would be great if Lopez turns out to be the same. Then in the next couple of years they can find a 1( Kopech?) and a 4 and 5 internally or externally.

Cease has a chance to be a #2 maybe even #1

Kopech-Cease-Lopez-Rodon is a pretty good 1-4 if everyone pans out.

I love the lineup today. I feel like that is the best possible group they can run out there right now.

Looks like a delayed start might be coming based on the radar. I wonder how many fans with tickets would rather just get a ticket for a Saturday in June.

Cease has elite stuff no doubt. Don’t forget about Dane Dunning. That dude will fight tooth and nail for his spot even if he may be overlooked due to bigger names and his injury. He may be the most complete pitcher even if he doesn’t have the upside of Kopech/Cease.

Thanks was just gonna ask

Bold predictions for today:

  1. Lopez goes six innings with 8 K, 2 BB, & 1 ER
  2. Tim Anderson goes 2/4 with a HR and a SB
  3. Eloy gets his first big league hit and it will be a double

Can't wait to see Eloy again. Hope he is more settled down today.

So I was in the fedex store this morning and I'm wearing my Sox jacket. The employee says, hey I'm a Sox fan too. And then he starts going off about how he can't believe they blew the Machado thing. I was like oh dude, don't get me started again. At least I know it's not just me still pissed off about it. Oh well, go Sox today! Let's get the first win!

This is literally every convo I've had running into any fan lol I start and stop myself before I go on a tangent.

Current temp 35F, don't expect a lot of fireworks.

Agree. Some of it is semantics. The White Sox may not have a clear #1 (i.e. Sale) but 3 or 4 solid starters would be great.

I saw a quote from baseball person ( can't remember who) recently that said they  don't consider someone an MLB prospect until they have had a successful year in AA.  Interesting take.

Has Stone had work done?  Dude doesn’t look 71 years old.

I know it’s just the second game of the season, but a little concerning they’re using Alonso against a lefty.

I would agree if we were facing a lefty

Oh shit, I thought Duffy was on the mound.  So much for that Tim Anderson HR prediction.

Nice at-bat Yoan!!

Nice Moncada.
