Gotta really wonder about some of the scouting staff that recommended Lopez and Giolito, too guys with MAJOR mental issues apparently.  Gotta do a better job trying to avoid guys like this in the future.  

I think now that in hindsight all the talk about Lopez as a reliever was mostly due to his mental lapses and sustaining himself over 6-7 innings mentally.

His first 2 starts have been bad but I'm not concerned with Lopez.  He has made improvements every year in the big leagues.

Lopez’s stuff looks good, velocity is there but he has had zero control so far this season. 

You get a 6-1 lead that fast you'd think a guy would just throw strikes.

he looks like he always does imo.  has very little control, little if any command, and his fastball is a straight 95.  Not sure if he's capable of much more this is who he is.

He just doesn’t have reliable offspeed stuff at this point to make up for bad fastball command.
