Based on me obsee

Observing him getting out more frequently, specifically striking out.

He was at .303 a week ago . He's at .302 now.

How did you know? Surprised they didn't appeal.

Eh.. he said that just when the play was going on. Hard to say he called that really.

Abreu bomb!

Edited by SoxAce

Abreu is special.

ABREU!!

I remember in 2016 when they had a bunch and the ump also missed a call that cost a triple play. I think they got cut one on a rainout too.

I study at the Steve Stone School for Psychics

For Ursula.

We still need a few more runs against an offense this potent but this has been such a fun game so far!

What on earth will it take for players to stop sliding head first? A lobotomy?

Our players aren't exactly the sharpest knives in the cutlery drawer.

It's been proven many times that sliding head first into 1B takes longer than going over the bag in an upright position--- many times it's the difference between being safe or out.  A lot of the blame for this  lies with the coaches for not teaching this to the players.

Nova on his way to throwing a Maddux

or not

Edited by flavum

I wish we'd hire Buehrle as pitching consultant. Nova works too slow.

That was on a tee for Bregman.

Or, players don't listen.

Weak fielding by Abreu there. What else is new though

This does at least set up another double play

C'mon Tilson. That should not have been a run.

Tilson screwed that up but Nova is a really shitty pitcher

Wow, it turns out that shutting out a team while allowing over a base-runner per inning isn't sustainable. ?

Nova is just painful to watch. Even Yoan could probably hit him right now

See what happens when you can't get multiple out on one swing .

I said this several weeks ago.   Last night Steve was talking about how fast he works.  Said you would think other guys would learn from watching Verlander work fast.

If you are a mediocre pitcher and pitch like Buehrle you have a chance to make it in baseball. His style should be THE ONLY way to pitch.
